Author's note: Songfic! I don't own the Tenchi Series. Okay! On with the fic!
It was morning. Another day. Another day of heart ache, and pain. Who could sustain such pain? Loving someone dearly, and not have them love you? Every single time, the words never came out right. Spoiled. Who could be to blame? Yourself. You are the only one to blame.
Ryoko stared at the rising sun. Every memory, drifting away from her. Like a nightmare, she was slowly drifting back into her own living hell. Lonliness, and agony. She drowned herself in those feelings, it didn't matter anymore. No one loved her in the first place. So why try?
Every single day she spent with Tenchi. All a lie. All the smiles, all the laughs and giggles. All lies. She couldn't get what she wanted. She accepted the fact that Tenchi did not love her. She accepted the fact that everyone thought of her as not a person .. But a Space Pirate. That was all she was to the people residing at the Masaki Residence. Just a Space Pirate.
Ryoko. This was all just a big game to her, she thought it was all a game .. No. It wasn't that. It couldn't've been. Tenchi's mind raced. What was he thinking? Ryoko, playing a game with him? It didn't seem like it. Ayeka doesn't even try to snuggle up with him in the mornings. No morning kisses.. nothing.
He couldn't comprehend what was going on. It seemed as though she was drifting away from everyone in the house. She was slowly moving into her own space. It was exactly like the beginning. Tenchi knew she didn't know whether or not they would reject her.
The thought of her leaving everyone was heart breaking. It would be to hard to imagine that. Ryoko wouldn't them behind. She could never do that. Hell, out of everyone in the house, he thought of Ryoko the most.
Ryoko sat in the darkest corner of her room. The curtains cast a deep shadow across the room, all the way into the far corner in which she sat. Her eyes were closed, she was thinking. What should she do? It seemed as if no one cared, anyways.
Ah, an idea. She jabbed her fist out, and clenched it tightly. A jolt of energy shot through her hand. She unclenched her hand, the ball of energy in her hand taking the form of a dagger.
Was this the only answer?
"Tenchi .. "
Tenchi's eyes snapped open. He felt something was wrong in the house. Something wasn't right. He got up, and made his way through the corridor that lead to Ryoko's room. He stopped at the door, and stared.
He remembered everything both of them went through. How much affection Ryoko had shown him. It was all a dream. It was all just a dream ..
He sighed, and had no idea what he was about to see..
Author's note: I'm going to end it right there. Leave you wondering. R/R! Flames aren't welcome. =P
