Rozen Maiden Opfer
Summary: Sequel to Vertrauen. The end of the Alice Game draws near, and the pressure is getting to all the Maidens. And soon, Marina will have to face up to Alice herself. But things aren't what they seem...
Notes: I'm not officially starting it yet, but this is a teaser chapter, just to give you an idea of the series. This will start officially when I finish Vertrauen.
Also, Opfer is the definite title.

The man just stared out to the rose garden, standing on his balcony. The sound of footsteps came from inside the house, yet he didn't turn around. The tiny figure left the shadows and walked out to the man.
"Father?" The man turned to her and asked, "What is it, Marina?" The tiny brunette frowned.
"Laplace is here again. He said it's important. Business." The man nodded and he turned to go back into the house. Marina grabbed his hand and asked, a worried expression on her face, "Father, why is Laplace always visiting? What is the business you're always seeing him about?" He bent down and gave her a reassuring hug. Looking at her worried pink eyes he told her, "Don't you worry about it. Soon, it will all be over. Soon, it will all end." He stood and left the doll alone on the sunny balcony. She blinked, her head tilted slightly.
"Soon what will be over?"
