Disclaimer: I don't own YYH. (I also don't own the book series Captain Underpants, which most of this was taken from.)

This story was brought to life by one of my good friends. You see, I was teaching her Japanese one day, and I used the word "baka" ("fool"). She thought this was extremely amusing, and we began calling each other "baka" whenever we saw each other. One day when I called her a baka, she said, "You know what? You're a super baka!" I thought this sounded like the name of a weird super-hero, and decided to turn it into a fanfic about…who else? Kuwabaka! (sorry…Kuwabara)

Warning: If you're a fan of our dear Kuwabara, I don't suggest you read this fanfic. I see some Kuwa-bashing destined for future chapters. But it won't be all bashing…I'll include some redeeming qualities…and of course, as with every super-hero, he'll always save the day!

Anyway, sit back, relax, enjoy, and don't forget to review!

…………………

Once upon a time there were two cool kids named Yusuke and Kurama.

Yusuke is the shorter one with the black slicked back hair in the green jumpsuit.

Kurama is the taller one with the long red hair in the pink-ish uniform.

Remember that now.

Yusuke and Kurama were best friends, even though they didn't have much in common. They lived right next door to each other and were in the same 8th grade class at Seriaski Junior High.

Yusuke and Kurama were usually responsible boys. Whenever something bad happened, well...Yusuke and Kurama were usually responsible.

But don't get the wrong idea about these two. Yusuke and Kurama were actually very nice boys. No matter what everyone else thought, they were good, sweet, and lovable.

Well...maybe Yusuke wasn't exactly sweet and lovable, but he was good nonetheless. Kurama actually was sweet and lovable, but no one thought so because he was friends with Yusuke.

Now, Yusuke had a silly streak a mile long. Usually it was very hard for him to keep it under control. Sometimes it got both him and Kurama into trouble. But one time, it got them into big, BIG trouble. When I say big, BIG trouble, I mean BIG, BIG, BIG trouble.

Are you sure you want to read on?

There's still time to turn back.

You're not leaving, huh?

All right, fine. I'll tell the story to those of you who haven't run away.

You see, Yusuke and Kurama had a classmate named Kuwabara. Even though he was a big, hulky guy who acted tough, he really had the heart of a kitten.

Kuwabara wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but he was well liked by all his teachers, for he studied hard and was never caught with the likes of Yusuke.

Kuwabara was the only one, besides Kurama, who raised his hand in class, but the teachers never called on Kurama. They were afraid that as soon as the redhead opened his mouth, a bucket of soda would fall on their heads, or some other funny thing would happen to them. Funny for Yusuke, that is.

So, the teachers always called on Kuwabara, and praised him even when he said the wrong answer.

Kurama was getting sick and tired of this treatment, but of course he sweet, lovable features would never show it. The only one he could talk to was Yusuke, who couldn't understand why he was so upset over a couple of teachers.

Still, Yusuke was angered by his friend's anger. His mile-long silly streak kicked in, and he decided to put an end to Kurama's suffering.

This is where our story begins.
