A/N-Okay my first attempt at a not so silly one shot. Hope you all understand it...eh.

Intercepted

It was midnight, and Glinda the Good lie awake on her bed. With spare time on her hands, which she knew very well was never good for a person, in the dead of night especially, she began to think of her beloved friend. It had only been a year, to the day, since the strange, and unexpected death of the green witch of Oz.

She turned over in her bountiful covers, soft as a cloud of feathers, to see a green glass bottle sitting there, taunting her on the highest shelf. When Dorothy Gale of Kansas had melted her best friend there was only two things left, one of witch she still had. Something that Glinda the Good kept very close to her, very close indeed. The bottle brought on strange oncomings of emotions, she assumed from memories, too vivid to withstand, kept reoccurring at the slightest glance towards the beautifully shaped glass.

Finally, Glinda could stand it no more. The bottle seemed to taunt her, torment her with sad memories, and if Elphaba couldn't have it no one would.

That is when she rushed to the balcony, bottle in hand, and flung the bottle of glistening glass of green off the ledge. She saw them sparkle, a shining star as it flew gracefully out of sight.

Little did she know, the tiny glass bottle never made it to the ground. Somebody had caught it.
