While Beacon is observing summer break, team RWBY minus Weiss have decided to visit Patch and the sister's home; the Ice Queen otherwise engaged with family drama couldn't come. Yang and Blake noticed the cupboards and fridge were rather bare, so they went to the store; leaving Ruby alone with Zwei. The girls were surprised that Ruby hadn't destroyed the house, at least not on the outside.

"Blake and Yang entered to find Ruby in nearly the same place they left her, lounging on the couch with her legs propped on the back and watching tv; Zwei laying right next to her, cleaning his paws. Ruby lazily watched Blake and Yang unloading the groceries, until she noticed the sweets and cookies; prompting her get closer.

"Ruby's mouth watered as she watched Blake place a package of chocolate chip cookies on the counter. The Faunus girl chuckled as Ruby drooled, before realizing that she was staring at the chocolate chip cookies she just pulled out. "I'm sorry, Ruby… you can't have any cookies yet.

"Ruby seemed to melt as her shoulders drooped and she gave Blake her best puppy eyes. "Aww, Blake… just one?"

Blake shook her head, but hoped that Yang would come back in; she wouldn't be able to deny Ruby's adorability for long.

"Ruby whined. "Why, Blake? Please, I won't tell Yang?"

Damn, why does Ruby have to be so cute… I don't want to say no, but Yang said to keep Ruby away from the cookies.

Ruby just stared at Blake, her heartbreaking expression making the poor Faunus girl feel extremely guilty. Blake sighed. "Fine, Ruby… just please stop giving me that look.

Blake just started reaching for the cookie package as Yang kicked the door open. Yang pointed at Blake, her other hand holding another brown grocery bag. "Hold it right there, kitty cat."

Ruby tried to swipe the cookie package and run, but as fast as her semblance can make her go; Yang lifted Ruby off her feet by her cloak's collar. Sitting the grocery bag on the counter, Yang proceeded to wrap Ruby in a great bear-hug; squeezing her tight, causing Ruby to start tapping Yang's arm urgently and gasp for breath. "Yang… put… me… down… I… I… can't… breathe."

Blake's cat ears were pinned back, scared by Ruby's pleading and her terror-filled eyes. "Yang, I think Ruby really can't breathe... please let her go.

Yang loosened her death-grip on her little sister, just before Ruby's face started turning blue. Yang smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, Rubes… I didn't mean to choke you, I just don't want ya ruining your appetite and skipping out on my awesome cooking.

Ruby coughed several times, relieved that she was freed. "Thanks Blake, I thought Yang was trying to kill me… those cookies are not worth it."
