I'm sorry, this is probably kind of anti-Frosthawk sounding. But I swear, Frosthawk is still my favorite. I'll have more fluff on tumblr before too long. Occasionally there needs to be more canon-sounding things. I mean, I could see this happening.

Feel free to sound off or yell at me in the reviews if this is no good. It was written in about three minutes. I bet you could read this in time with the actual song and finish about the same time.

I don't own anything belonging to Marvel or the Sex Pistols. I'm simply an over-imaginative fan.

After spending a few days lying around and thinking about his heartbreak, Clint sat up. It was almost as if a cloud had lifted and let the sun shine on him again; but not the hot sun. Just the nice, comforting sun. 'Cause no one likes it when the sun makes everyone feel like suffocation and burning.

Clint opened his window, and in came a crisp fall breeze. The chill reminded him of Loki's touch, especially those that went below the belt, and not in a painful way. He shook that thought away, already he was rolling fast. He threw his dirty heartbreak hotel clothes off and switched on his stereo. The last CD in the slot was Never Mind the Bollocks, so naturally he made sure he was at full volume.

He grinned, and it was like shedding off an overwhelming spiderweb of dislike and discomfort. Maybe he hadn't loved Loki after all. Maybe it had been all mind control.

Or...

Lies.

No one could explain what he did next, and he couldn't if you asked him to. He threw his head back and howled with laughter. He had thought he was in love with the god of lies, for Christ's sakes! Of course there was nothing good to come of that! He had lied to Clint. He had touched and teased Clint for his own benefit.

A happy mind control zombie slave was better than one who seemed dejected. Loki had rolled him around in his hand like a goddamn ball of clay.

Clint just continued laughing; a barking, loud sound. He competed with the CD, the end of No Feelings 1 transitioning to... Liar! Grinning and still occasionally smirking, he went to take his shower.

There were definitely better days ahead.
