Digimon Re:Generate:"Problems in our hands"Meanwhile, in the Digital World,
Lasers flying overhead. Explosions blasted hard and loud beyond houses. Machines marched towards their order near the Village of Light, raising their weapons, sending bullets targeting the castle ahead and over. All Digimon screamed in terror as they were under attack. Most of them left, but some remained to stay behind to fight. The time of the war, worse than Lord Bagra, Quartzmon or the D-Reaper.
This Digital World is made by outsiders, the one who created us through data. I was unsure what had happen to this world after it. So many wars and battles in everyone's way. It flooded us into deep terror, homelessness and famine. The newcomers of this horrific war came back to challenge my King, who, I still remember slightly about, won the endless battle of Lord Bagra. His allies, among him, were there when it happened. I know so little about the war, that I began to learn about each Digimon, who are suitable to join the war next in the future.
I went far from the village to a nearby valley to witnessed the entertainment as my King and his allies fought the beast of war. I studied their tactics, as they move around the beast with stealth, stamina and full of heart. Their partners, which I recognized: Taiki Kudou, leader of the Xros Heart, United Army, Nene Amano, and Kiriha Aonuma.
As they digifused my King and his allies, I was impressed to see the same o'l Shoutmon X7F Superior Mode. I carefully watched as my King swings his mic, as it transformed into a shiny blade, and quickly in the blink of an eye, struck the beast, in the middle of its heart. Slowly the beast pixelated away and the sun seeped through the clouds, lighting its way into a bright glorified sky.
As the battle ended, I returned back to the village, in time to found many Digimon crowd around the heroes, my King and his allies. I was proud and relieved. But sadly, since I watched him, able to digifuse into one almighty being, I felt so useless. What if...I could too, I thought in hope, maybe I could fuse into one godly being and show him that I-.
Suddenly a pink Digimon woke me out of thought, "Hey? Are you okay?". I blinked my eyes and stared at the digimon longer than expected. "Oh...yeah, I'm fine.". The Digimon gave me a look of suspicious, then later on waved at me as if dismissed. "Okay, have fun then,". I waved back and made a cynicistic smile. As the Digimon left, I quickly droop my face and head to the house near the castle. I tried my best not to show anyone my hideous face. As I arrived to the destination, thankfully the door slid open automatically and I went to the table, near the window, and sagged, letting my head lain on its side looking out to the sky and valley below. As my eyelids grew heavy, I began to fell in a deep dream.
"Cognito? INCOGNITOBIRDRAMON!? What is going on?" _
_
It's been a long tiresome day since I dreamt. I slowly woke up from a call in my thought. "What do you want?" I said, as I walked outside to see the sky was dim with purple and streaks of colorful orange puffy cloud moved slowly as the sun had settled over the valley. "Do you not know what time is it?" I went back inside my house in a hurry to finally realized that I was late for the ceremony. My Graduation!
I quickly packed my things in my small messenger bag and dashed to the castle. I dashed as fast as my legs could go and almost made it there, when then other Digimons came out of the castle with something in their hands. Then I recognized. Their graduation diploma.
I slowly began to walk and watched them enjoy their parties as they have completed their studies. I dropped my head once again to head home. "I guess I don't deserve to get one."
Then,..."Incognito! Wait up!" I turned back and found the pink Digimon ran towards me with a white certificate sealed with a special emblem, that I don't seem to realize. As it came to me, the pink Digimon gave me the certificate. "King said that since you are the only one who passed all the Digimon studies, he gave you this reward, as a gift from the Overlord." I blinked again and held the reward. "Um...Thank you, Cutemon." Cutemon gave me a thumbs up. "You heard what the King said, 'you are the only one'," I gave a smile, mixed with 'I get it' and 'don't get it'. The same face Cutemon gave me a while ago made me want to run away. As he suspiciously looked at me like I was hiding something, my instincts kicked in and I finally dashed out of his detective ritual.
Thankfully as I got home, I set my certificate on the smooth, wooden table and sat on the warm, comfy chair to focus on what's inside it. Ironically I grabbed my gloves and put it on, just so there was not anything nuclear-liked. As I carefully removed the seal and unrolled the certificate, I quickly stabbed a knife on the top and bottom and quickly ducked my head. For the minute it was safe, I slowly poke my head out and looked what was said in the certificate. I could fully understood what the words said with neat cursive, hand-written.
Certificate of Knowledge; Scholarship of History and Science and Stewardship of the Digital World,
Present this certificate to: Incognitobirdramon, in successfully completion of the curriculum in: Digital World History and Alchemy in this 8th day of June, 20XX.
I felt a sudden happiness jolted in my gut. "YES! YES, YES! I passed the course of-" I looked through my certificate again. "knowing Histories and Science," "Now that's a built for knowledge," I tapped my head. "Oh why thank you, my smart brain of disguise" I said, as I walked off outside, as the sky grew into a dark blue blanket spotted with white dots, stars. "Oh how I am happy,"
From the corner of my eye, my friend, my lifelong friend, Falcomon, approach to me. I happily sprang out of the porch and landed on the arm of his. "So how's your grad?" he said to me, calmly as he took me in my home. "Oh It's a miracle! Guess what I passed?" I gave him a smile. "What DID you passed, Incognito?" He asked, waiting for my answer. Then I showed him on the table with the knives, stabbed on the top and bottom margin of the leaned in a closer look, awed transformed his face. "Wait..you- what?". I beamed. "I know right, I am glad I'm a profession of knowing history and doing science." "Did you know what this means?" he said with a gleam in his eyes. "No, what is it?". Then he held me close, around my arms and led me to the window. "This means that you are going to be the King's knowledge assistant for life. And believe me, it has to be good enough than Tentomon. He's a nerd in the class, yapping about how he and his partner got the crest of knowledge and-" I knew how Falcomon is pretty obsessed with me being a high professional digimon than anyone else. So I slipped away from his grip and slowly went outside, leaving my loquacious friend chatting on and on about the future and not on his own. I felt pretty bad for it.
So as I went outside, I walked down passing houses and buildings, and one thing that bothers me was: King's Castle. Ever since I was a Mysterimon I always thought of going in King's castle and introduce him. But once I did, I got in trouble and was sent over to the Digimon police, just because they think that I was going to hurt him. And I get that, because of how I look and act like a wild Digimon. But that wasn't too serious though, I wasn't even sent for punishment. So just as I was a Murdermon, I was schooled with one of King's allies to teach me everything about the Digimon World: Sanzomon.
She taught me everything about being positive, wisdom, and good heart, like a guidance. But I was already as positive. So she put me in a special class, where all the other Digimon are left to work, and learn. Good thing it wasn't a detention, like what outsiders used to call it. Every year I attend this class, I begin to grow more in knowledge as I learn and study. Eventually I became one of the digimon, who knew more than itself. So just as I already grew too high for acknowledgement, Sanzomon then took me to another school, where I first saw Falcomon and King's allies. I was pretty excited back then, until now…I already got the diploma and passed the school itself. Now I'm left with confusion.
Am I ready to go see King? Or not?
So just as I was about to head for the castle, a group of dark Digimon was heading towards my direction. My instincts kicked in and I left running towards the castle as fast as I could. But then in the nick of time, I barged through the doors and closed it behind me. A royal group of PawnChessmon and its leader, Knightmon held out their spears and swords at me.
"What do you think your doing here?" He said with a sudden anger in his voice.
I was too afraid to say, as the doors were forced open, catapulted me across the room and finally friction stopped me as I hit the wall.
'Ugh! I really need to digivolve somehow.' I thought too quickly. 'But how though?'
Then my body sagged to the floor and I managed to get on feet and get away, when a digimon was thrown to the wall. I watched as the Digimon tried to get up, but eventually it was injured. Then as it looked straight into my eyes, I felt a little woozy. Thankfully my head snapped out of me.
"Crimson Wing!"
Surrounding my wings, a dark-reddish aura appeared. And just as I slashed the digimon in half, it gave out a shrill cry and eventually pixelated away. I sighed in deep relief and looked around. Those dark digimons, who was chasing me, were defeat by Knightmon and Pawnchessmon.
As it was done, they turned to me.
"What. Was. That?!" Knightmon bellowed, loud enough for maybe King could hear around the castle. But just as I was about to say, Cutemon came in. FINALLY
"It was not his fault, I witnessed they were trying to capture Incognito." Those what he just said, calmed them a little.
"But why are they trying to capture him?" One of the Pawnchessmon said.
"Maybe. Maybe it has to do with his knowledge of the Digital World." I gulped. I don't like the sound of that.
Cutemon then, faced at me, grabbed my whole face and checked side to side. "Are you alright, Incognito? Are you hurt?"
I shook my head. "No. But I'm alright." Finally he let go. "And why are you here then?"
That sentences struck my gut. "Well, I was having a dilemma about rather I should-" Then he interrupted. "-meet the King?" He said with a smirk.
I made a sheepish smile. "Maybe…" 'I mean it has been a year or longer, that I haven't met the King!'
But Cutemon, Knightmon and Pawnchessmon looked at each other, like something had happened.
I felt devastated. "Oh...well," I sadly walked out of the castle, and went straight home.
As I got home, I haven't said a single word, when Falcomon sat with me on the couch.
"Hey? What's with your gloomy face? Does anything seem to bother you?" I didn't move a single muscle. "Is the King alright?" He worried.
Still I didn't say anything, but staring down on the floor with my elbows on my knees. My hat covered almost half of my face, unwillingly to show him. Until then, a single tear rolled down my face. It only took a few seconds for Falcomon to realize that I was….crying.
He began to worried that he knew what was going on without asking me, and left the couch to return back to his house, which was next to mine's.
"So...I can't go in the castle and meet the King then."
