I layed on my floor just staring at the ceiling.
Today was pretty boring. My mom doesn't allow me outside when it's raining. And that is exactly what is going on. The soft pit-pat of the rain hitting the window was a comforting sound. I was currently was all alone. My mom was at work and my siblings were at a friend's house. I don't have many friends. Close anyway. I have one close friend. Armin Arlert. Unfortunately he's a guy and I am not. So we can't really spend as much time together as we'd like. He's so sweet, though. Mom has met him a few times. She's likes him.
A knock on the door broke me from my thoughts. Quickly I raced downstairs almost breaking my legs in the process. I'm so clumsy. Throwing open the door I see none other than Armin. "Speak of the devil." I mumbled. He gave a shy smile. "Hi, y/n. I was bored and thought you could use some company...i-if that's okay o-of course." He told me. I examined his appearance. "Armin! You're soaked! You could get yourself sick!" I scolded like the motherly friend I am. Quickly I ushered him inside, closing the door after us. His face flushed. "S-sorry." He told me quickly. I rolled my eyes. "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to your immune system." I told him teasingly as i ran off to grab a towel.
After he had gotten somewhat dry we sat in the living room. "So what do you want to do?" I questioned him. He gave a small grin before pulling something out of his pocket and handing it to me. I smirked. "You do know I will crush you, right?" I asked him playfully. "Stay here. I'll go steal my sister's Wii U real quick." I told him while heading upstairs.
I sighed in exasperation three races later as he had beat me again at Mario Cart. "No fair. You didn't tell me your a witch." He looked over at me. "I'm s-sorry?" He offered. I laughed. "Calm down, Armin. I was just kidding." He gave me a small smile. "I thought you said you were good at this?" He commented. I looked at him. "I'm triggered." I told him faking hurt. He laughed at that.
We spent the rest of the day like that... until I had to sneak him out before my mom saw him.
