Just one more thing before I go
I'm not here to put you down
You don't love him and that's a fact
Girl I've seen you around
But you hold his heart in the palm of your hand
And it's breaking mine in two
'Cause I'm the fool in love with the fool
Who's still in love with you

-The Fool Lee Ann Womack-

The first time I met Morgan was at Buzzwire, her and Maureen were talking over the price of her photos; they were the only shots of the new 'hip' club vandalism. The place was a mess, apparently the owner pissed off the wrong gang.

She seemed decent enough; we had a few short conversations, but never really spoke to each other to much. She would float in and out of Buzzwire every few weeks when she had new crime scene photos or something of the like. I never really took any interest in her.

Until he did. I watched the way he watched her, in a shocked at first, but each time he saw her, his eyes shown something I'd never seen before, it wasn't something I particularly enjoyed seeing in his eyes.

He fully believed she was Coraline, even after Josef told him it was impossible. He still believed, he watched her and stalked her, until he no longer felt Morgan was his ex wife. I couldn't stand watching him obsess over her, she was all he spoke of, all he thought of, you could see it in his eyes. It tore me apart to know he still loved the woman who had tormented him in such a way.

Then I found out the reason Coraline was supposedly dead, Mick had killed her, he had killed her saving my life. In one of her insane attempts to save her and Mick's relationship, she kidnapped me with full plans of making me her little 'vampire' baby. Mick left her in a burning house; how she got out I'll never know.

Once I found out the truth, Mick's obsession became my own. My free time was spent outside of Morgan's apartment, watching her every move, waiting for signs of the 'femme fatale' that was lurking beneath her sweet exterior.

I found the place where she kept me locked up, the place where she tried to make me believe she was my new mother, the place where all this hell started. It was proof that Morgan was really Coraline, at least enough proof for me. I quickly ran to Mick's apartment with full plans of explaining the genius of my proof to him.

I had to show him who Morgan really was, how Coraline had been tricking us this whole time, I had to show him the whole awful plan, and he would have to believe me. When he opened the door he was soaking wet, his dark hair clung to the lightness of his skin. I began to speak, the words running from my mouth in record time.

That's when I saw her; the conniving bitch had the nerve to greet me, mocking the fact that she had, in some ways, won. Her hair was hanging in wet curls, she even had the nerve to wear his blue shirt, the one that looked so good on him, I'll never be able to see him the same way in blue again.

Her skin ripped in a morbid melody as I stabbed the make-do stake into her heart. Her gasp was a vindicating sound as she fell to the ground. Blood poured from the new hole in her chest as she lay out on the stairs. Mick ran to her, he ran to her side and held her.

"She's not a vampire! She's human!"

I stood there, watching him cradle her in his arms, I could see tears in his eyes, the love he felt for her. I felt my already broken heart break off into many little pieces. Watching him hold her as she nearly bled to death, the only thing that came to mind was that she's bleeding on his shirt…
