Prologue
The Toyotomi clan has taken control of Japan, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific islands, and are now looking to expand their horizons. The obvious choice is the new Kingdom of Magrathea, a newly established monarchy, ruled by the O'Connor family, who, for 7 years, have gotten to work, unifying Europe, the Americas, Australia, and soon, the rest of the world. The Toyotomi are arriving in Magrathea's capital, the city we know as Copenhagen, Denmark. The O'Connor family, however, has quite the secret as to their vast and oddly prophetic knowledge.
I packed up the last of my bags, readying myself for an alliance proposal with the esteemed King Gabriel of Magrathea, accompanied by his wife, Queen Ariel, his mother, Grand Queen May, his brother, Grand Lord Micah, his sister, Grand Lady Rosa, his daughter, Princess Alice, and his son, Prince Seamus. Quite the family, I must say.
"Hanbei, it's time." Hideyoshi, my dearest friend and commander bellowed. I smiled and stood to greet him.
"In perfect time, Hideyoshi." I chuckled, placing the last bag where the others were, ready for some servant to come and take it with them. Hideyoshi and I walked out of my chamber, and up to the front of the boat, watching the ship slowly reach the beautiful city of Copenhagem, as it's called. I noticed Mitsunari briskly walk up to meet us, closely followed by Yoshitsugu and Sakon.
"Lord Hanbei, how are you this morning?" Yoshitsugu asked as Mitsunari bowed his head. I smiled lightly.
"Fine, Yoshitsugu-kun. And yourself?" I politely replied. He gave a shaky laugh.
"Fine, my Lord, thank you."
We reached the shores of Copenhagen, met by a young woman, maybe 18 or 20 years old, and a boy, maybe 16 or 17 years old. They were obviously Princess Alice and Prince Seamus. Princess Alice smiled and walked up to greet us, her brother following closely behind. She had fairly short, curly, strawberry blonde hair. Her eyes were of a deep blue colour, with a scar running through her left eye. This particular scar seemed to stretch down an entire side of her face, though another scar was apparent, slashing over her throat. She was a fairly tall woman too, maybe a bit taller than Mitsunari, with a burgandy overcaot, decorated with patches, draped over her tall, muscular body. She wore a pale gray and blue shirt, and dark green pants, with a longsword strapped to her back.
Her brother, who followed just behind his sister, had short, straight, dark brown hair, cut just above his eyes. He had no scars, his hazel eyes free of marks, unlike his sister's. He was also quite tall, hright matching his sister's, though unlike his sister, he had an extremely thin, lanky body, contrasting his sister's muscular body. He wore a black jacket, with a dark blue shirt and red pants.
"Hello, my Lords, it is a pleasure to meet you." She said, bowing to Lord Hideyoshi lightly.
We smiled, and introduced ourselves. For about 30 minutes, we spoke in a civil way to each other, making small talk. I found the age of the 2 at the beginning of their work as a strategist and generals for their father particularly interesting. Princess Alice was 13 at the start of her work as a strategist and general, and her brother was 14 at the start of his work as a general. Finally, much to the quiet relief of myself and Hideyoshi, we reached the Magrathean capital Castle.
