Mister thought Harry Dresden was pretty decent for a human. For one, he had taken Mister in and that spoke very well to his character. Usually the smarter humans were the ones that owned cats. Although, Mister didn't really think of himself as a cat, he was really more of an advisor. While Harry Dresden was a smarter than average human, he fell very short of feline perfection. Mister knew that without him, Harry would have a very difficult time.
Mister was always careful about helping though. He knew Harry very often looked down on help. He was very cat like in that respect, but since he wasn't a cat it was a very stupid thing for Harry to do. Mister would do things like sleep on the wrong documents so Harry would be forced to read the right ones. That was another good thing about Harry Dresden, he never disturbed Mister's naps. He respected cats, Mister liked that about him.
Mister would yowl when Harry was in danger and didn't notice because unlike other humans Harry knew it was a warning and not just useless noise. Cats never did anything without a purpose. Even the seemingly random aerobatics or racing around had their purpose, that being exercise.
Mister had even helped in Harry's dismal love life. To Mister, Harry's love life was where he needed him most. Harry just couldn't seem to do anything right with it. Being the proud Tom cat that he was, Mister knew he was just what Harry needed to teach him how to get a good mate. Just last week he had tripped that brunette woman who smelled of coffee and gun oil right into Harry's arms. Of course the brunette had kept her distance from Harry after that, much to Mister's annoyance. It must have been because Harry had been neglecting a very important aspect of having a love life grooming.
No matter how often Mister would sit in Harry's lap when he groomed himself, Harry would not take the hit and get cleaned up. Mister thought he might have to ask the ghost for help with that one next time. Harry listened to the ghost, which was also good in Mister's opinion. Humans would know a lot more if they actually talked to ghosts instead of running away screaming.
As Mister jumped up onto the bed and settled down on his traditional place, Harry's chest, he graced Harry with a little affectionate head rub. After all, he was pretty good as humans went, but he was definitely better off with a cat by his side.
