Rainbow Dash paced around on a cloud. Soarin… She thought to herself. What an amazing stallion. I wish I could be his girlfriend – Her thoughts were disrupted as she heard a loud boom of thunder. She then remembered that that there was going to be a storm that day. Raindrops started falling down, and Rainbow decided to head back home. She gently flew off the cloud not letting the raindrops bother her. She was used to it. She then flew in the direction of her house, and then she saw a flying stallion approaching her.

The stallion smiled. "Hi Rainbow."

Rainbow blushed and stuttered back, "H-h-hey, Soarin."

Soarin noticed that her cheeks were a light shade of red. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah," Rainbow assured him as she waved her hoof "I'm just really hot."

"Hot? But it's only a little warm."

Rainbow blushed even harder.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

Rainbow responded the same answer. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."

Soarin came closer to her. "Is something bothering you? You seem anxious."

"No, no, I'm fine."

Soarin settled on a cloud and waved at Rainbow, signaling at her to come closer. Rainbow sat down on the soft cloud. Soarin looked at her, his eyes filled with concern. "You can talk to me about anything, Rainbow."

"I-i-i-it's nothing, really," Rainbow answered, stuttering once again.

"Rainbow, I know something's wrong. You can tell me anything, but I'm not going to pressure you."

Rainbow sniffed at those words. Se knew he was a caring Pegasus. Tears slowly streamed down her face, as she sniffed.

"Rainbow, what's wrong?"

Rainbow sobbed out, "I-I really, uhm," Rainbow stopped. Soarin nodded, waiting for her to continue. "Soarin, I have feelings for you."

"Feelings?"

"I really like you, as more than a friend. Secretly, there has always been this sappy part inside of me that I never let anyone see. I've wished, and still wish, that you could kiss me, hug me, and tell me that you love me."

Rainbow weeped. "And I'm afraid that you don't like me back and will reject me,"

Soarin came closer to her. "Rainbow –"

"I know! I'm annoying you with my secret mushy feelings, and I'm sorry if I'm bothering you!"

Soarin the looked into her eyes, and quickly leaned towards her, placing a kiss on her lips. Rainbow felt a jolt of shock, but calmed down, closed her eyes, and kissed him back. Soarin pulled away, and gave her a big hug. The hug lasted for a couple of minutes, and Soarin broke the hug "I love you, Rainbow."
