Johanna's POV
Y'know that saying "it's good to be home"? Well I'm not gonna lie its definetly nt good to be home. I mean as much as I love home it's not good to be back here in District 7. I forgot how bloody big this place really is! And my god there are a lot of trees I mean I swear there were nt this many trees last time. But the real reason why isn't good to be here is because its just reminding me how alone I am.
There are a few thousand people here and when I was around I don't recognise a single person. I mean sure I am Johanna Mason the girl that doesn't like or socialise with people but still. The only person I err really ha any relationship with was with Finnick. And well he's dead now so that ruins that. There is Peeta, we kinda developt a relationship in the Capitol. A bit unorthodox I know but still it counts for something right? There is Annie but she has her baby and is keeping quiet busy. I spoke to her yesturday and she said she has control over her sanity now. Which is good. And she has Mrs Everdeen helping her out... Oh right there's her. katniss.
Now I would never admit this publicly but I do think of Katniss as a friend. I talk to her every now and again and she seems to be on the right track. Her and Peeta are doing it like animals. She won't admit that but I know it's true. And she is happy. It seems everyone is moving forward even bloody Haymitch who is dating Effie of all people! Everyone is getting a new life except for me, the girl who still sleeps with an axe under her pillow. I need to do something I can't stay here anymore I need out of District 7 I need to leave.
When I dial the number and waiting for them to pick up I almost consider hanging up until they answer before I get the chance.
"Hello" they say.
"uh hey it's me Johanna." I say nervously.
"Oh my god you sound like your shaking this is new what's up?" They ask surprisingly and concerned.
"I was uh just wondering if there was any way I could come and live with you guys. I can't bloody handle it here anymore I need a change. Can I come stay at one of the empty houses at Victors Village with you guys?" I ask. There is a long pause before they reply.
"Johanna you don't have to ask of course you can come. Not gonna lie I miss you, we miss you. Come as soon as you can we will all be so happy to have you as a neighbour." They reply happily.
"Thanks..Mockingjay."

My very first one-shot! What did you guys think? Now those of you reading my other story I know I haven't added to it in a while and I promise I will. I just want to write a few one-shots and short stories before I continue so I can get a few more followers and favourites. I hope you all understand.
