Drabble One: Gamble
Linfa was having mixed feelings. On one side she could learn from the old man's prowess and experience and become a better gambler who didn't cheat. She wanted to do that for the Prince, because he was the one who trusted her not to cheat, even after she had cheated him out of his money, and he had beat her at her own game.
She was trying to keep her word and not cheat, and she hadn't. She had beaten Roy, Faylen, Egbert, Lu, Lun, Volga, and Logg already without cheating and the only ones who had beaten her fairly had been Prince Faroush, Jeane, Shigure, Sairoh, and that man, Haleth.
So she decided she could seek him out and either learn from him, or she could take the second option and yell at him for insulting her and her game. He was standing there now, taking a couple of bets from Logg and some other Raftfleet men and she was watching him, noting what she could of his skills in persuading the men to bet higher and higher on longshot dragon horses.
She had bet once to see what all the fuss was about before he had beat her. She had bet on that cute little purple one, Ax, and his soldier Nick. She had made 10,000 Potch that day.
"Hello. Would you like to place a bet?"
Linfa shook her head and stepped back. She would talk to him later, right now she was…hungry! Yes, she was very hungry. She was such a coward.

Haleth watched as the cute girl in blue slinked down the corridor to the restaurant. She was kind of familiar, but then again it was a big castle and he could have met her anywhere. Then, he remembered, she was that girl who cheated at cards with her easy game.
'What was her name again…Luca, Lina, Luna?' Haleth shook his head and went back to his bets. Who cares who she was, she was a horrible gambler anyway.
End.
