D'Void watched as multiple Null Guardians ate in a kitchen. ''Perhaps you will eventually devour my enemies. They aren't here.
My enemies usually try to defeat me in my citadel,'' he said to the Null Guardians. D'Void started to smile. ''I'm still conquering the Null Void.''

D'Void turned and abandoned the Null Guardians. He found himself in the hall. He glanced at a Null Guardian as it flew near him.

The Null Guardian faced D'Void before it snarled at him.

One of D'Void's eyebrows went up. ''Why are you cranky? Are you hungry? You should fly into the kitchen and eat something before the other Null Guardians devour everything.'' D'Void continued to roam the hall. He began to frown.

D'Void walked into a dark chamber. The sight of a Null Guardian resting on a bed caused tears to appear in his eyes. He approached the bed.

''You are sick. Allow me to be with you during your final moments alive.''

The Null Guardian was barely able to shriek.

D'Void fell on the bed before he embraced the Null Guardian. He sobbed the minute it died in his arms. *At least my pet is not suffering right now* he thought.

Three Null Guardians flew into the room.

''Bury the Null Guardian by my citadel,'' D'Void said. He ceased sobbing before he released the Null Guardian. He fell asleep.

Hours passed before D'Void opened his eyes. After stretching, he sat up at a snail's pace. D'Void gasped after he saw the deceased Null Guardian's spirit. He began to shake his head.

''Are you haunting me for allowing you to die?'' D'Void muttered. He observed the spirit flying to him. A small smile appeared.
''Are you here to let me know that you aren't suffering?'' D'Void heard the Null Guardian's screech. *I'm not responsible for your death.*

The ghost vanished.

Tears ran down D'Void's face again. His smile remained before another Null Guardian's spirit appeared. He gasped another time.
He recognized the Null Guardian from earlier that day.

The spirit began to snarl at D'Void.

*I forgot to feed the starving Null Guardian!* D'Void thought before the spirit devoured him.
