OKAY SO this is just some shit we had to write for Science. We had to write a creative story about volcanoes and how they would explode, what to expect and how to protect yourself. Like we were some important person or shit that was giving a speech. SO I wrote a Doctor Who AU of the Fires of Pompeii because I could. I was writing fanfiction in class with permission!? So here goes nothing...
The TARDIs landed in Rome, Pompeii to be specific, in year AD 79. The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS, trench coat swishing, and called, "Oi! Donna! I got it right this time!"
The red haired woman rolled her eyes. "About time space man."
The Doctor pouted playfully, "Come on, Miss Noble, we have Pompeii to explore."
He offered her his arm, and off they went. They walked through the twisting streets together, laughing & talking together. Suddenly, the Doctor stopped. He cocked his head to one side, listening.
"Donna. Can you here that?"
"Doctor... Hear what?" she replied nervously.
"That sort of rumbling sound."
Donna looked unsettled. "You don't think, Doctor... You said this was Pompeii. You don't think that maybe it's -"
"Volcano Day," the Doctor replied looking grim.
~~~~~ TIME SKIP YAYAY ~~~~
"It's the Pyroville. They're inside the volcano. That is what is causing the volcano to erupt."
"Doctor - who are the Pyroville?" Donna asked, confused.
"Oh, they're from the planet Pyrovillia, which was lost many, many, many years ago. They must have crash landed here in the volcano. Which makes sense, as they are practically made from fire and heat."
"Well how do we stop them?"
"We can't, Donna. Mount Vesuvius will erupt because of them," the Doctor said sadly.
"But Doctor! We have to help them! We can't just let all these people die!"
The Doctor couldn't meet Donna's eyes.
"Donna. Pompeii is a fixed point it time. It has to happen."
"Doctor," Donna half sobbed. "I don't care! We will save them. You understand that space man?"
With that she stormed off, leaving the Doctor trailing in her wake.
How do you like that? I'll upload the rest soon
