Wheeljack had been reluctant to return to the Autobot base after the revenge stint with the human named Miko. So he was insulted especially when Ratchet suggested that the bot should stay rouge, for almost putting Miko in harm's way.
But he obeyed, and went.
What had felt like solar cycles later, Wheeljack understood at last to stay a part of the team, even if it was only from the outside, a framework, or as the Earthlings would call a trellis. And he even got to partake what Miko called a 'brofist', and wouldn't he know it?
It was the same thing with Wreckers, too.
