A/N: So, most of the US is covered in this white stuff and I see kids throwing it so I think to myself, I totally see our favorite team. Enjoy!
Officer Ziva David was attempting to finish her paperwork. It was frigid cold outside and nice and warm where she currently was, behind her desk.
Occasionally she would glance up at her partners as Special Agent DiNozzo flicked some inanimate object at Special Agent McGee. Partners- still a word that she was not used to though she has been here on the NCIS team for weeks.
Tony took silent aim for her.
"Do not even think about it if you wish to keep your extremities," she warned without even looking at him.
Tony wisely went back to torturing McGee, who he was not afraid of.
When Special Agent Jethro Gibbs came to sit behind his own desk it became a game to young Tony to hit poor McGee without Gibbs seeing. Something landed in McGee's coffee and Ziva did not hold back her snort of laughter as McGee finally had enough.
"Get it out, Tony," he demanded.
Tony managed to look innocent. "But I don't think anything can remove that stick from your rear."
Ziva almost lost her calm at that statement and McGee's face upon receiving that said statement. She was sure Gibbs would say something to break them up but lab tech Abby Sciuto beat him to it.
"You guys! You guys!" she exclaimed as she made her way nosily to their area.
"Ah, Abby," Tony said, welcoming here, "you are just in time to hear why Tim's stickectomy should not be preformed by a fellow teammate."
She shook her black pigtails. "Forget about that. Look, it's snowing!" She grabbed their hands to lead them to the window.
Tony looked back at her. "Coming, Zee-vah?"
"Don't invite her," Abby hissed but she still heard.
Ziva forced herself not to glare at the girl. "No, thank you, Tony. I have seen snow before." She felt Gibbs looking at her so she got back to typing her report.
At five o'clock Gibbs told them they could leave. They all three looked surprised.
"We get to leave on time, Boss?" Tony asked, confused.
"Well, yeah, DiNozzo. That's what 'leave now' means. Unless you want to stay..."
"Leaving now, Boss."
They walked out together, coats bundled, scarves wrapped, gloves on. Ziva thought they were with her in the parking lot but muffled shouts showed them in an all out childish snowball fight. She had turned just in time to see McGee peg Tony in the mouth, causing a surprised DiNozzo to lose his balance in the slippery mess. She laughed out loud.
Tony looked incensed. "Laugh it up, Mossad. Have you any idea what kind of suit this is?"
"A wet one?"
"That's it." Tony grabbed a handful of the pack able powder, molded it, and fired it from where he sat.
It hit her black coat in the center of her chest. Ziva just stared at it.
"Tony!" McGee said in shock. "Have you any idea what you've done?"
Tony stood nonchalantly. "Yeah. I've declared snow war on someone who grew up in the desert. How bad could it be?"
"Oh, Tony," she said, sweetly, holding a snowball in her hand. "One does not have to have snowballs to have good aim." Her snowball hit him straight in the forehead. "And it does snow on occasion in Israel."
"Oh, it's on now!" Tony made it known and the three scrambled behind various vehicles for shields.
As Ziva started piling her finished snowballs together to get ready for the on slaughter she smiled. Perhaps working on a team was not so bad after all.
