Sunlight streamed through the windows as Aeris blinked.She yawned and sat up.She stretched her limbs as her mother,Elmyra Gainsborough came into the room and placed some fresh flowers on the dressing table.
"Wake up,sleepy head!It's 10.30 am already!You've overslept!"
"Whaaat?!"Aeris was jolted awake by the startling piece of news.
"Yes,dear,and you better hurry up if you don't want your breakfast to get cold!"
"Okay..."
Her mother left the room.Aeris changed out of her nightgown into her normal clothes and bounded down the stairs.She went to the kitchen to find a plate of eggs and bacon waiting for her.She hungrily wolfed it down,then went to her garden.In her garden were roses which she had carefully and tenderly nutured.Under her loving care,all the flowers had bloomed.All.Except for one.
She looked at it worriedly.Despite her best efforts,it stubbornly remained a bud.No unfolded petals,nothing.She called her mother to the garden,then told her about it.
Her mother said,"I know,dear,I have been watching it for some time as well.Just don't pluck it,and observe it.Cheer up,dearie!"
"O-okay,ma,"Aeris replied as she picked the rest of the flowers.She then went to Sector 6 and started her day.
Why am I here?Must I always remain in these sectors?Why don't I venture out into the world?Must I remain like the bud?Why is it so stubborn!?!?!?!
Two weeks later....
Elmyra pottered around the garden,thinking of Aeris.Only this morning had she gone off with that blond spikey-haired guy...what was his name?Cirrus?Or is it Cloud?Well...he does seem like a nice,young man,she thought.A good match for Aeris,perhaps.
Her eyes rested on the bud.Why wouldn't it bloom?she thought.Why does it make Aeris so sad?Why-
Her train of thoughts cam to a stop when she say one petal unfolding.Her heart palpitating,she stared at the bud.Ah!There come another one!And another!And another!She stood there,spellbound,until the bud bloomed into a lovely,sweet rose with elaborate details.
She drew in her breath sharply.This bloom is far,far prettier than the rest,she thought.All of a sudden,the phome rang.She rushed to answer it,her heart still beating fast.
"Hello,ma,this is Aeris here.I'm safe with Cloud,how are you?"
Even if you do not bloom now,it does not mean you will never bloom
You will never achieve success if you do not take risks and expose yourself to realities
