Harley had invited Wade over for dinner, and he could guess from the sound of her voice what they were eating. Chimichangas, of course. He had been confused, as of late, and it wasn't a nice feeling. It made his brain hurt.
Later, Wade sat across the table from Harley, wondering. It had been a while since they talked about whatever kind of relationship they had. It didn't bother him, really. He liked it simple. Something else was bugging him, though. That stupid, confusing feeling he kept getting around her. It wasn't an erection -at least, not always- and it almost made him feel like he was caring about someone. Except different.
"So, ah, Harley. I know I'm a cheap date, and a bad guy -which is probably an understatement, considering I kill people for a living- but, I feel different. I may be stupid, but I know what love is, Harley." He paused. "Ok, I lied just there, but if I did, I'm pretty sure this would be it."
