AN:Hello and welcome this is my first fanfic so I would like some people to r&r there will be another AN at the end.

As I sit down and takes a look at my desk I sigh "better get done with this paper work."
A knock on the door interrupts his thoughts "Mr. Highborn sir," says another cop.
"Yes?" I reply; "a new case came in only five minuets ago and you where assigned to it," he reply's I nod to my desk.
"Put it there; I will take a look at it in a minuet," I tell him.
He places the folder on my desk and walks out. I take the folder and take a look at it and then I open it inside was a picture of two body's one male one female I read the names Athena Chase and Mark Chase. Great I think to my self a double murder just another day on the NYPD right? I take a look at the pictures more closely and see on Mark it was a knife that killed him a stab in the chest and a stab in the stomach. I take a look at Athena a stab in the leg, back and head.
I take a look at the paper saying any family both of there parents where dead Mark had a brother here in New York; Athena had a brother in L.A and a sister in Canada they had a child a girl named Annabeth. Such a poor girl at the age of sixteen both of her parents murdered and entering high school life must be hard. I sigh once more and put the folder aside and get to work on my paper work

As I look up to the NYPD building I keep thinking to myself that this can not be happening both my mother and father killed in cold blood. I walk into the lobby of the building I see a officer siting at the desk in the middle of the room, and he says "Hello, may I help you," I tell him I am here for questioning about Athena and Mark Chase. He then tells me to fallow him and I do he leads me to a room one with four grey wall and one mirror; I know there is more officers watching me. A female officer walk into the room "Hello Annabeth I and officer Kat I am here to ask you a few questions about earlier."
"Ok," I manage choking back tears.
"I would like you to tell me about earlier if you can," she says quietly.
"I was going home after my first day at Goode high school and opened the front door to t-the t-the s-s-seen," I can not help it I break down crying. I hear Kat trying to sooth me I only cry harder.
-Kat-
I see this poor girl break down in front of me I knew this job would be hard but I did not think my first job with my first mentor would be so hard. I asked Draco if it is always murders; he told me that it was mainly break-ins and murder that he dealt with being a detective I could have guessed. I try and sooth her but she seems only to cry and sob harder. "I think we are done here," I quietly say into my microphone; Draco is on the other side of the one-way glass he wanted to see how I can handle a questioning, and I think if this was a test I flunked it. I hear the door open behind me and I walk out.
