Within the Earth
Note: this is based not in any of the books, but is actually what I think how Kalona "lived" within the Earth after A-ya faded away.
As A-ya sobbed, her broken voice echoed one word in my head: Remember…
Kalona cried as he held the soft sand that was once his love.
"A-ya, even you, left me. And yet her I stay. Trapped, lightless, immortal, and alone." The fallen Warrior then wrapped his massive black wings around his naked flesh. Kalona then felt his body being swallowed by the Earth.
"A-ya! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Kalona wailed as the Earth wrapped around him like a tomb. The once great Warrior, the Fallen angel, was forever trapped.
Kalona moaned as he felt the Earth shift into a new form. He felt several buildings being constructed on top of his tomb. As the construction continued, the Fallen Immortal felt a familiar power.
"My Goddess. Have you come to torment me with your forbidden power? Nyx, Why torment me so?" he muttered. He got no answer.

"You shall rise soon father." Kalona peered with his power to see his spirited bodied son.
"Rephaim, just how you think we will be reunited?" sneered Kalona. The half raven man answered.
"A Vampyre. She embraces Darkness, and has lost her sense of the world. He name is Neferet. And another thing…"
"what is it?" ordered the Black winged Warrior.
"I have found A-ya. She lives within another body. A young Vampyre." At that, Kalona perked up.
"A-ya. She has returned. Rephaim, do all you can to make sure A-ya reawakens." The Raven Mocker nodded, and flew away.
"A-ya, I shall return to your arms." Kalona then waited. He waited for the Red One's Blood to spill, he waited for the elements to gather, he waited for his rebirth.
…had he not raised his gorgeous arms and called in a voice that was deep and rich and full of power, "Arise with me, children!"
