"Can we do modifications to the Christmas tree?" Izuku was holding an old Christmas tree and placing it on one of the support department's desk.
"Of course, why wouldn't we"? Hatsume opened the door carrying an awful lot of tools "Wouldn't that get us in troubles?"
"Are you telling me to use this boring non interactive, plain looking, dusty and absolutely not Hatsume tree for our classmates and our Christmas?
"N-No! You know that I support you 100% when it comes to inventions and gadgets, but you remember that time with those custom Halloween lanterns?"
"Aizawa is Aizawa and will always be Aizawa, he doesn't understand my genius" Hatsume started working on the tree while Izuku cleaned her forehead with a rag "You burned out his sleeping bag… and half courtyard" Hatsume lifted welding mask "Well, Hell fire brought that spooky-ish feel to that night right?" Izuku pinched his chin with his fingers, she was right "Cleaning afterwards wasn't that fun, but yeah, you are right"
"See! Just have some faith Izuku, I got a plan" She continued working, adding a handful of parts and other things "What are you doing anyway, it looks like you're adding some candy dispensers and-" Hatsume raised her voice "Glad you asked! And just making it bigger, as you noticed it candy dispensers with time exclusive Hatsume choco-balls, also sake and beers, don't let Aizawa ger his hands into it. But not only that, you see I-" While she was invested in the multiple explanations and quirks about her work Izuku drifted and looked at a strange looking artifact "Hatsume, what is that?"
Hatsume's face went completely white and ran to the desk "This, Uh it's a… you see it's a…" Midoriya made his way to Hatsume "Let me see, I won't laugh…" Hatsume was hesitant, however she brought her arms infront of Izuku and opened her palms "It's a mask, for your suit. I made some ajustments, you just need to put these ear pieces and press the green button" Izuku's eyes were full of wonder, he did as Hatsume said and a mouth piece with holographic rabbit ears materialized "Hatsume… This is so cool!" Hatsume chuckled "Of course, I made it. It also has a built in computer with my own OS, I hope you like the desktop pic" Izuku focused and saw Hatsume in a swim suit covered in oil.
"Ye-Ye, It's pretty stimulating" Hatsume's smile disappeared "It was supposed to be a Christmas present… Sorry" Izuku gave her a small smile and started to search in his pocket "This is such a great gift… You shouldn't be sorry, Me on the other hand… I only have this" Out of his pocket he gave her a silver heart locket "I kinda need to step up my game huh?…" She opened her present and found a photo of them covered in oil after one of her babies exploded, both of them smiling, that photo was taken the day after they started dating.
"Izuku… I… This is beautiful" Izuku wrapped his arms around her waist a pulled her closer "Still, I'll give you something more substantial tomorrow, since we spoiled our gifts" Hatsume placed her palms on both of his cheeks "A kiss might be a good start, we need to experiment after all" Both closed their eyes and their lips melted into a tender kiss.
