I Can't Fly.
One day in a valley, there was a Red-crowed Crane called Crane who was just about to have another flying lesson. He'd tried countless times before to fly but failed. But this time he was ready, the weather was perfect and he was very confident. Crane jumped into the air and...landed on his head. Everyone his age and below laughed at him. At the back of the crowd there was an old man. But since he was old know one ever took any notice of him. As soon as the rest of the crowd had finished teasing Crane, the old man went up to Crane and offered to teach him how to fly. When Crane agreed the old man showed him how well he could fly which was very well even though he was old. Over the next few months the old man taught Crane how to fly by doing it in a hidden forest one step at a time. After eight months Crane showed the others that he could fly. After that no-body ever teased him again. The next year Crane got a job as a janitor at the Lee Da Kung Fu Academy.
