Dear diary,
It's day one here in Maxville.
I've never seen the point of writing down my thoughts and feelings on paper, but Principle Powers says that it will help me monitor things and not slip up. I'm not very good at opening up and revealing myself to anyone, it's never been my thing. Father always said that it was a sign of weakness to show your emotions to anybody, but then again what does he know, he should be in prison right not, instead of roaming America, free to hurt any innocent person he sees.
So I'm writing to tell you about my burden, my gift, my curse, my life.
It's 1am and I have to start school tomorrow so I better get some shut eye.
Until tomorrow.
Yours, a tired Alexa xxx
I walked through the hallway, high heels clacking on the marble floor, echoed by the silence of the deserted school. Looking down I noticed a trail of blood on the floor and began to following it, gathering speed to try and help the injured person or people. Coming to a closed door I know this is it, so I take a deep breath and push the door open, only to find a pile of my friends and family's bodies in the centre of the room with my mother on top. "NO" I scream and run to the bodies, only to find the source is the bleeding is my mum. Suddenly a evil laugh comes from behind me and I turn quickly to find a man dressed in black with a metal mask covering his face. "You're next Alexa, I'm coming for you" he says and takes a step towards me.
"Ahhhhhhh", as Alexa wakes up the room is filled with her waking screams of terror and fear. "Please tell me that was just a regular nightmare and not a premonition or something freaky like that". She said anxiously as her foster family came rushing into the room.
"What was the dream about?" Justin, my real brother asked.
"Dad" I breathed.
