Well, I just reread the manga chapter 198, and am still frustrated with the fact that they didn't really show if Neji died or not. I mean, Neji, can't die, he's too cool! Anyways... yah, I bring you this short bit of brain leak.
ooooooo
All of them were worried.
Ino bit her lip at the mention of Shikamaru and Chouji. Customers of the Yamanka's flower shop noticed that the usually talkative shopkeeper had red-rimmed eyes, that her voice failed when she finally spoke, and that she had even failed to notice the fact that the roses were beginning to wilt.
Hinata lowered her head to hide her tears whenever she thought of Naruto and Kiba. Hanabi saw it as disgusting, yet amusing, and found new ways to gloat over her wispy, emotional elder sister, mentioning either one of the rescuers, or both, in every sentence.
Sakura openly wept for Sasuke and Naruto, sitting by the village gates everyday, waiting. Embarassed, the other villagers began to avoid that part of the village so that they would be spared the pitiful sight of the genin sobbing her eyes out.
But Tenten... you couldn't tell if she was worried about her teammates or glad that they were gone. No one knew that she spent hours training where their team used to spar, crying the whole time. No one knew that she used the rest of her afternoon feeding the birds that Neji used to count, remembering all the good times their team had. No one knew how hurt she was when her last teammate, Lee, left town in pursuit of the other five.
All four genins have one thing in common: the fact that they were waiting for that day when all the people they had wasted tears on came back to Konoha safe and sound.
ooooooo
Brain leak indeed, that was much shorter than I had expected... well, then again, I was originally only going to do this about Tenten... but whatever. I may do a mini series on this, who knows? XP
