Chapter one: When I first saw you

Carmillas dialogue:

It was carmillas first day of the new term at Silas University and she was dreading it more than anything. She was studying photography and English which she loved but it's just the thought of school that put her off.

When she arrived at Silas she glanced around the surrounding area. People flooded from every direction. She could already feel beads of sweat across her forehead and palms.

She walked inside the building and the first thing she noticed was how close everyone looked. They were all so friendly to each other and carmilla new she never did and never would have a connection like that with anyone.

Just as she was thinking second thoughts of actually going to class the bell rang for lessons and she knew she was going to have to do it. 'Great looks like it's time' she thought to herself knowing it was going to be a bad day. She strolled towards her English class and walked through the door.

Laura's Dialogue:

It was Laura's first day as the new English teacher at Silas University and she was buzzing with excitement. This had been her dream for years now and couldn't wait to see what this place had in store for her.

She looked out the window and could tell that today was going to be a great day. The sun was beaming down on her window as she left the house that day.

She got in her car and begun to drive to Silas when her supposedly amazing day started to turn for the worse. A strange noise started coming from Laura's car. 'Oh crap! What is it now?!' Laura had left quite early to make sure she was on time but by the looks of it she didn't think she was gonna be.

'Could you um possibly drop me off to Silas University. Um... well my car sorta... broke down!' Laura stuttered on the phone she didn't want to have to ring her ex on her first day at her new job but she had nobody else to ring. 'Sure' Danny chirped surprisingly happily, 'I'll be right there.'

So that's how Laura ended up 10 minutes late on her first day of her new job. Just brilliant.

Mixed dialogue:

Laura burst into the room all eyes on her as she scrambled to her desk. 'Sorry I'm late I had a sort of accident.'

The students just groaned and some laughed at the tired and frustrated teacher half lying on the desk.

Carmilla like the others first laughed, but unlike them she didn't seem to be laughing at her but sort of with her, a slight grin on her cheeks. 'Wow!' Carmilla thought 'who is she?!'
