Silence
Jack's POV
It has been two weeks. Two flippin' weeks and Kim hasn't been talking to me for that entirety. What did I do, you ask? Well, we were at her house watching a movie, and I said that she probably couldn't go a day without talking to me. She had said that she could probably go a month, so I said that I'd bet her on it. I expected her to refuse, but instead she agreed saying that the next day she would start. Now I would do anything to make her talk to me, and I have tried many things. It's like she's taunting me. The other day I almost pushed right up against a wall and started kissing her. That's what her not talking to me does. It makes my crush on her go insane, and it drive me out of my mind. I am about ready to bang my head against a wall. A brick wall.
Just as I am thinking this, Kim, Grace and Jerry come walking up to me. Jerry has his arm wrapped around Grace's shoulder.
"Well, Grace and I are going to the mall, so, see ya!" Jerry says excitedly and he and Grace run off. Kim stands there awkwardly before spinning around on her heel and starting to walk away. She doesn't get very far, because I grab her arm and spin her back around. She stares expectantly at me. I get a firmer hold on Kim's wrist and drag her to my car. I open the door for her and she hesitantly gets in. I go around the front and get in, start the engine, and drive out of the parking lot.
"You know I'm going to make you talk to me, right?"
She shakes her head no, and stares straight forward.
"Pwease?" I say in a baby voice.
Still, she shakes her head no. This goes on until we are at my house. She gets out and walks to my front door and stands there, tapping her foot impatiently. Chuckling, I grab my keys and go and unlock the door.
"There you go, Princess."
Kim crosses her arms indignantly, and sits on the couch. I sit really closely next to her, to make her uncomfortable. She gets up and tries walking towards the door. Again, I grab her wrist.
"Where do you think you're going, huh?"
She motions to the door.
"Nope, not gonna happen."
She has a look on her face that says she's not impressed.
Again, Kim tries to leave. She steps around me and makes it five feet from the door before I decide I've had enough. I growl and, when she gets a foot away from the door and reaches for the door handle, I grab her shoulder and spin her around. I take a step forward, and she takes a step back. She hits the door and she stares at me with a wary eye. Suddenly I can't take it anymore and I roughly grab her face and kiss her. Hard. I pull back into a heated stare.
"See that?" I ask her. "That's what you make me want to do when you don't talk to me."
Without a second glance, I spin around and storm down the hall to my room. I flop in the chair that sits beside my bed and close my eyes. I hear a door open and then close. I sigh, thinking that Kim has left, completely disgusted by my actions. I'll probably never talk to her again. I sit there for five more minutes.
"You know," I hear a voice say, "If you had done that two weeks ago, I would've been willing to talk."
I snap my head up hopefully, and there standing before me, is the blonde beauty. I'm flabbergasted. She likes me? She comes up to me and places a soft kiss on my lips.
"I love you Kim."
"I love you too, Jack."
