I need someone's thoughts! *Flips through all the HP books* Gaah!!.. Help me.. --; Wait.. Has anyone done Mr. Ollivander's thoughts on Harry's wand? Oh, well, now I'm doing it. ^_^ I promise to do other book-thoughts, but Ollivander has my attention. I don't own Harry Potter or his characters, and no flames, please.

I knew the day would come. No matter how long it took, I knew that the Potters' boy would walk into my shop someday. And earlier, he did.

Waiting oh-so-patiently, I heard the massive footsteps of Hagrid, and inched closer to the door. And then he walked in. Hagrid, of course, but the boy.
The Potters' boy.

I welcomed them graciously, examining the boy with great interest. He had his mother's eyes. His father's hair. A mixture of the two children I loved in my own way, with their powers of Charm and Transfiguration.

And then I saw the scar. Oh, the scar that svaed our lives, the scar that proved the boy. Proved that Harry Potter was no myth, was real--Hidden in the Muggle world.

After a short conversation that truly had no importance, we began measuring, began the selection of wands.

Not a wand seemed to like him, from dragonheart strings to phoenix feather to unicorn hair, woods to sizes, nothing sparkled in its magical ways. The boy was confused, watching as wands dashed through his grip.

And finally I decided that the boy of my children would enjoy a strange mixture--Holly and phoenix. The brother to the one who'd killed his parents.

It settled upon him, in my amazement. The brother of the Dark Lord, indeed! Oh, such a power Tom Riddle had.. A power gone to so a waste..

Aah, Fawkes, the phoenix of the brothers, I pray you will help him in the future. the boy of my children, I wish for him a long happy life, unlike the ones we went through.
