Err... in case anyone noticed; yes, I got the title from the Trapped in the Closet...series. XD I really hated those but I thought the title was good so...here we are. xD I really enjoyed writing my last SuiKa fanfic, so I decided to write another one. I'm hoping it will be just as good. Have fun reading!
Trapped in the Rubble
It was perfectly normal for a building to explode when Sasuke was inside of it. There was no one in this world or the next who could deny that. That is, unless they hadn't met out brooding Uchiha. Most of the living had at least heard of him though, so that shouldn't have been a problem. And the people in the next life? Well, they were dead so they didn't really count.
Karin was obviously one of the people who knew this fact about Sasuke. She'd known him for the past 2 and half years and this little bit of information wasn't something that she would soon forget. However, this knoledge hadn't stopped her from going into the building after Sasuke when he went off to kill his brother.
It also didn't stop her from bringing her water-loving teammate along with her.
"Great plan, Karin," said teammate smiled, showing off his pointed teeth. "Next time, lets jump right in front of Sasuke when he's about to hit someone with Chidori Nagashi." Karin, needless to say, did not return the smile. Instead, she looked around the two of them, praying for an exit.
But an exit was not there to be found. Karin was trapped with her most hated enemy in the middle of a great pit of rubble. This rubble had once been one of the official Uchiha buildings, the redhead wasn't exactly sure which one. She picked up a piece of brick that had red paint on it. Upon inspection, it was discovered that this rock matched her lovely red hair perfectly.
Karin felt a bit of pride swell up in her as she realized that her hair was the same color as part of the Uchiha fan. It must mean something! She and Sasuke must be meant to be, and this proved it!
Suigetsu thought otherwise. "Your hair's oranger than that paint," he said, mocking her for what felt like the thousandth time since they'd been trapped under this damned rock pile. She'd hit him before he had the chance to turn to water.
It wasn't her fault they were in here! They'd just been running towards Sasuke when the ground began to shake. The floor fell out from underneath them and soon they were covered. Somehow they'd been able to find a small room that had minimal damage and some food for them to survive off of until Juugo told Sasuke to come rescue them.
...He would tell Sasuke, right? Well, nothing Karin could do about it now. She sighed and sat down in the corner farthest from her...her...friend? No, that wasn't it. Partner in the stopping of Juugo's craziness? Yes, that could work. And it could be shortened as Pitsojk. Well...the Pits part was okay...but it wasn't like she didn't have time to work on the name, right?
Suigetsu sat nearby, quietly drinking his water and staring at her. Probably wondering if she'd be making dinner for the two of them soon. Well, if he thought she was cooking for him while they were in here he had a big surprise coming. Maybe, if she was feeling nice, she'd throw him some scraps. Ha! She made him sound like a dog.
That's it! He could be her dog! The perfect job for an idiot like him. Karin smirked at her own brilliance.
"Hey, foureyes!" Suigetsu yelled from across the room. Not that he needed to yell, the room was so small. "Ya think Sasuke died?"
This was going to be a very exhausting experience.
