I can't love you back
It has been a month since Jacob Kowalski, the no-maj that befriended Newt, Tina and Queenie been obliviated. Ever since that, Queenie always kept Jacob in her mind. Always thinking about him every day and every night. There were times that she couldn't sleep thinking what would have happened if Jacob wasn't obliviated. She wanted to be at his side, waking up to her husband's pastries and sleeping wrapped in his arms but Queenie knew that wouldn't happen. She wasn't supposed to interact with No-Maj's let alone have a relationship with one. She knew Jacob won't love her back, Macusa won't let him love her. Jacob was the closest to heaven for her but she knew it wouldn't work. She would do anything to touch him, to kiss him but she knew it had risk.
The next morning, Queenie woke up rather early that morning. She hasn't sleep that well. It has been the case for the past month. Queenie walked slowly towards the kitchen and almost bumped into someone
"Queenie? Why are you up so early?" Tina's voice could be heard as she looked at her with a sigh. Queenie just shook her head as she went to grab a cup of coffee
"Just a bad night of sleeping that's all" Queenie lied and Tina knew she was lying
"Thinking about him again Queenie? You have to understand. MACUSA had strict rules about it" Tina thought to herself before Queenie looked up quickly
"I'm not thinking of him. Teenie, I just had a really bad sleep. That's all. It's not because of Jacob" Queenie said with a sigh but who was she kidding. It was clear as day.
"It's been a month Queenie. You have to get over him sooner or later. There is loads of wizards that you will fall in love again" Tina said with a sigh as she walked out of the apartment leaving Queenie alone
"But there is none like him" Queenie said with a sigh looking out of the window as she drank her coffee and just frowned trying to move on
