A/N: So I'm having some disappearing muse issues with Touch and Go, that and my life seemed to have taken on everything it possibly couldn't handle, so I've been pretty busy, but I promise I'm working on it! This popped into my head and I just felt the need to write it. Just a short little something-something to make you smile after the "Real" writers broke all our hearts Thursday...
As always I own nothing more than my fogged up brain and this here computer...Getting In Your Pants
"I don't like him." Gil whined from the doorway, staring at him in dismay. Sara turned around, clad in her pajamas and smiled.
"You love him and you know it." She teased as she stared at him lovingly.
"Do not." She had to laugh, because really, he sounded like a four-year-old who wasn't getting his way.
"Oh stop your whining. I love him. He's staying. You'll learn to love him." She admonished him playfully, placing a chaste kiss on his pouting mouth before getting into bed.
"You love him more than me. He's going to take over and you'll just forget all about me." The chuckle that escaped her mouth was involuntary, but it came out. He just looked and sounded so convinced that he really had competition.
"Gil…seriously?! Honey, I love you. I love him, but I love you so much more." She shook her head amused as she leaned back into the pillows. "Sometimes you're just too cute."
"I'm keeping my eyes on you…She's mine. Not yours. Mine." He whispered to his male companion as he took a step into the room.
"Gil! Be nice to him!" Sara laughed, throwing a pillow at Gil's face.
"I wasn't being mean; I was simply informing him of the facts." He defended, never letting his eyes leave his counterpart. "I know who you really are! She may think you're all sweet and innocent, but I know better!"
"Gil!" She was having a hard time controlling her amusement at seeing this other side of the Great Gilbert Grissom.
"Look, he's trying to steal you!" Now, she was just confused. She was lying in bed, alone, thanks to Gil being all wound up about his so called rival. Where was the stealing happening?
"Gil…get over it." She mumbled, but he was nothing if not determined to prove his point.
"No. Now come on. Look!" Begrudgingly she pulled herself up out of the bed to see what it was that was bothering him so much. "See?"
"See what Gil? You're losing it."
"I told you he was trying to steal my girlfriend. Look at him! He's already trying to get in your pants!"
Sara laughed. What else could she do?
There on the floor were her discarded jeans and their new boxer puppy cuddling up inside them.
"This quite possibly is the cutest moment of our entire relationship…I need a picture of this."
"I told you he was trying to steal you!"
