Disclaimer: This is the sixth story in From the Radio. The song, Show Me Heaven, by Jessica Andrews, isn't mine and it also hasn't hit the radio waves yet, but that's OK. I really wanted to write a Jason/Kim story with this song. In case you haven't noticed, the stories in this series are really basically about Jason and Kimberly! Oh well. Just read on!
Show Me Heaven
By Julia
Kimberly Hart stood in the hallway of her school, waiting expectantly for her boyfriend. She was humming a great Jessica Andrews tune in her head, and not really noticing the lines. She had had this CD in her car that morning. She stood on her tiptoes, trying to see above the crowds of people. Finally, she saw him and her eyes lit up. She watched him walk over to her. When he reached her, he gave her a kiss on the lips. She said, ''Hey, Jase.''
Jason grinned at her. ''Hey, I want you to listen to this song that I was listening to this morning. It made me think of us.'' He led her to an open classroom and slipped a CD into the player. Music filled the room:
''There you go, flashing fever
from your eyes
Hey baby come over here and
shut them tight
I'm not denying we're flying
above it all
Hold my hand, don't let
me fall, you've such amazing grace
I've never felt this way
Oh show me heaven cover me
leave me breathless
Oh show me heaven, please..''
Kimberly gasped. ''Oh my God. I was listening to that on my way to school! Jason, you are the most wonderful boyfriend ever!''
The bell rang, and Jason stopped his CD. He stuck it back in his bag. Morning anouncements came over the intercom as teenagers rushed into the room. Jason and Kimberly left and crossed the hall to their classroom.
''Ladies and gentlemen, students, I have a CD here that I'm supposed to play. It's song number twelve, called Show Me Heaven. It's by Jessica Andrews, whom I'm assuming is a country artist. Anyways, here it is.''
Kimberly whirled around and kissed Jason deeply on the mouth as the song played.
''here I go, just shaking
just like the breeze
Hey baby I need your hand to steady me
I'm not denying, I'm frightened
as much as you
though I'm barely touching you
I've sent shivers down my spine
And it feels divine
Oh show me heaven, cover me
leave me breathless
Oh show me heaven, please.

do you know what it's like to
dream a dream
Baby hold me tight and let this be
oh show me heaven, cover me
leave me breathless
Oh show me heaven, please
Oh show me heaven, cover me
leave me breathless
Oh show me heaven, please.''
As the last note played, the announcer came back on and said, ''That was from Jason Scott, and it was to Kimberly Hart.'' Jason had gotten down on one knee in front of Kimberly's desk, and their friends Aisha and Zack gasped. The announcer said, ''Kimberly, will you marry Jason?''
Kimberly cried, ''YEAH!''
Cheers erupted in their classroom as they kissed, and cheers ran up and down the hallways as kids ran from room to room spreading the news. Kimberly said to Jason, ''Show me heaven, baby.'' right before the teachers made everyone settle down.
Show me heaven, baby...........................
Author's note: I know there isn't much more to my stories in From the Radio but the song. But you'll have to bear with me, they're just songfics, and I hope you enjoy them.
