Chapter 1

April (AJ) was hanging out with her best friend, Stephen (AKA Sheamus) at the local ice cream parlor after Smackdown in Los Angeles, CA. Envying all of the couples they'd been seeing around work.

April - "Why are we always the ones who end up alone, eating our feelings, after the shows?"

Stephen - "That is a question that I'd rather leave unnanswered, missy..." He chuckled.

April - "I guess you're right." SHe chuckled, as well. "So, who've you had your eye on lately?" She asked him, curiously.

Stephen - "Uhm...You promise to keep a secret, right?" She nodded. "Pinky pormise?" He stuck out his pinky waiting for her to do the same.

April - She sighed. "Break a promise, Break a pinky." She wrapped her pinky around his. "Now tell me! I wanna know!" She smiled brightly.

Stephen - He blushed. "Actually...It's John..."

April - She smiled. "You two would be so adorable together!" she exclaimed.

Stephen - "Now you have to tell me who you like." He said with a devilish smirk plastered on his face.

April - "Uhm...that is top secret material."

Stephen - "Nope! I told you mine, therefore you have t' tell me yours!"

April - "Fine..." She whispered in his ear. "It's Cody."

Stephen - He looked shocked, yet happy. "Oh. My. Gosh. YOU TWO WOULDBE SO CUTE!"

April - "Hush! Someone might hear you!"

Stephen - "Oh right, sorry."

April - "It's okay" She smiled. "I have to leave, I gotta check into my hotel. Bye, bestie!" She hugged him, then proceeded to go outside to her rental car. As she was looking at her phone, whilst walking, she accidentally bumped into someone and fell. She heard a voice ask if she was okay, and when she looked up she realised that it was Cody. Her face turned red. "O-Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry..."

Cody - "It's okay, darlin'." He helped her up. "You didn't answer me, are you okay?"

April - "Yeah, im fine."

Cody - "You sure? I could take you to your hotel if you want?" Oh, fuck, what have I done? I just embarassed myself in front of the girl I've been wanting to get the nerve to ask out.

April - "Uhm, I wouldn't want to be a burden, but if you wouldn't mind..." This was her chance.

Cody - "It would be an honor." He smiled at her and picked her up, bridal style.

April - She was surprised at his actions. "Okay..." She blushed as he took her to her car and placed her into the passenger seat.

Later at the Hotel

April - "You didn't have to carry both me and my luggage to my room, y'know..."

Cody - "I know." He smiled. "Do you mind if I stay with you for a bit?"

April - "Not at all, do you like video games?" she asked

Cody - His eyes brightened "Of course!"

April - "Well, prepare to get your ass kicked. I've beat everyone on the roster, except for yourself, of course." She winked at him.

Cody - "Okay, what are we betting on?"

April - "If I win, you have to carry me around work for the next week." She giggled.

Cody - "And if I win... I get one of your infamous kisses." he winked.

April - "I have no problem with that." She smirked, getting the game set up.

April secretly lets Cody win

April - "Damn it..."

Cody - "I'll still carry you around work, if you'd like." he chuckled.

April - "It's okay..." she smirked then quickly straddled his lap, then kissed him passionately. "How was that for an 'infamous kiss'?" She winked.

Cody - He was in awe. "Holy shit...give me a minute to process this..."

April - "I'm guessing that you enjoyed it..." She giggled.
