Ellie was 3 1/2 years old and came running in with a tardis toy pretending to fly around with it. Clara was sat with the doctor in the control room both watching. Ellie was racing around. " Ellie please can you be careful honey " said Clara. She nearly trips up. " come to mummy " said Clara. Ellie shook her head. " no " said Ellie.
" now come over here sweetie before a accident happens " said Clara.
Ellie folded her arms. " come on do as your told " said Clara. " I want to play " said Ellie. The doctor steps in. " come and sit with daddy then " said the doctor.
Ellie walks over but reaches at the console. " sweetie don't touch the controls " said river.
" why not " said Ellie. " because mummy and daddy say so " said Clara.
Ellie holds the red lever. " sweetie don't move that control " said the doctor.
" you'll be in trouble if you pull that red lever " said Clara.
Ellie lets go of the red lever. " good girl now come to daddy and mummy sweetie " said the doctor. Ellie didn't want to and sits on the floor with the tardis toy.
" I think it's time for her nap " said Clara.
Clara picks her up " nooo " said Ellie crying kicking her legs. " it's not fair " said Ellie.
Clara sits down with Ellie in her arms. " come on nap time " said Ellie.
Ellie cries " I'll get her blanket and dummy " said the doctor.
" hey calm down little baby " said Clara rocking her and kissing her gently on the head.
The doctor comes back with her blanket and dummy " let me help dear " said the doctor. Clara smiles the doctor and Clara walk out of the control room and into the library and lies Ellie down on the little sofa bed. Ellie crys " I don't want a nap " said Ellie kicking her legs in the air. Clara sit on the sofa bed. " baby " said Clara. " I not a baby " said Ellie.
" no but you'll alway be are little baby girl what age you are " said the doctor sitting down on the sofa bed.
" dadddy" said Ellie tears coming down. " come to daddy then " said the doctor Clara helps Ellie across to the doctor and the doctor lies her down in his arms and puts the blanket around her. " hey sweetie shhhhhhhh go to sleep " said the doctor carming her down stops kicking her legs. " noooooooooooooooooooooo " said Ellie.
" shhhhhh sweetie " said the doctor rocking her and kissing her. The doctor gently swipes her tears away and river puts the dummy in her mouth.
The doctor hums a gallifreyan lullaby to get her to sleep after he finished she was fast alseep. " thank you " said Clara quietly.
" not a problem honey " said the doctor quietly. " I can remember when she was a little 1 month year old baby " said Clara quietly. " so can I " said the doctor quietly.
20 mintues later Ellie starts to wake up. " hello cutie pie " said the doctor looking down at his 3 year old daughter. She was sucking her dummy and her little hand reaching for his Bowtie Ellie always liked playing with it. Clara was watching. The doctor gently starts tickling her. Ellie was wriggling about in his arms.
Ellie try's to stand up and the doctor helps her " come to mummy " said Clara. The doctor passes Ellie over to clara. Ellie takes the dummy out of her mouth.
Clara puts Ellie down and she ran over to the dolls house and started to play before running over to the steps and started trying to climb up. The doctor looks at Clara the doctor gets up and walks over to his daughter.
" sweetie don't climb now put your arms around me " said the doctor. " I wanna climb." Said Ellie . " your too young " said Clara . The doctor lift up and carries her to the sofa and sits down she kepted on trying to get up but it didn't work.
Ellie ended up cuddling up to her daddy holding her mummy's hand just the way it should be.
