This story starts 16 years before the events of Rio 2 which was 2014 and it will show my OcMegan's life all the way from her birth to my Rio 2 Alternate (re-write) story. Soo here we go! Ps: Sorry if I have grammar mistakes but English is not my first language.

Rio: Megan's Origins

16 years ago,

Brazil, Rio de Janeiro

"Aren't they beautiful?" A young female blue spix macaw said as she looked at her 2 newborn chicks, the older one was a boy and the other one was a girl. They were both sleeping and the male chick was hugging his little sister. Another male blue macaw was standing there starring at the chicks and then he looked at the female macaw with a bright smile on his beak

"Indeed they are, Frida but.." he replied and Frida raised her right eyebrow slightly confused.

"But what Tony?"

"What if I am not a good father? What if I end up like my father?" Tony's worry made Frida smile and nodge Tony playfully.

"Oh come on now Tony… You will be a great father!" Frida's answer made tony smile.

"You really believe that?"

"Well of course I do! Why do you think I chose you as a husband and wanted to have kids with you?"

"It's like you had a lot of choices! We are the last ones of our kind remember?" Tony sarcastically said.

"I know that… but let's move on we haven't named our kids yet!" Tony smiled again and gave a small kiss to Frida's beak.

"Alright then… You will name the boy I will name the girl"

"I think we should name the boy after my father….It was my family's tradition" A small tear ran from Frida's eye and this didn't go unnoticed from Tony who immediately hugged her in comfort.

"Hey look at me… they are still with you… in here" Tony pointed with his left wing Frida's heart.

"Do you always know how to make a woman happy?"

"What can I say? It's my job to make you happy! And what was your father's name anyway you never really talked to me about your past all I know is that you lost them."

"That's because it is something I don't want to talk about" Frida replied slightly angry.

"Look… I don't want to fight we still didn't name our kids" Tony calmly replied and Frida just left a sigh.

"Alright, I would like to name our son Tyler." With this Tony smiled once more and hugged his wife.

"That is a beautiful name my love! I think I found a nice name for our daughter too!" Tony whispered the last part with a playful manner which caused Frida to giggle.

"WhOA what did you thought dear?"

"I think we should name her… Megan, I always wanted to have a daughter with that name!"

Frida replied with a hug and a passionate kiss which lasted for a full minute. Frida's reaction made Tony's smile grew even more.

"That's a beautiful name for our daughter Tony!" Frida said and Tony smile now was bigger and brighter than the sun itself and he put his left wing around his wife.

"Soo, our little chicks, Tyler and Megan."

"They will have a great future and we will be a great family!" Frida almost yelled from happiness but you know when things are perfect they well… they don't stay like that

Later that night three familiar men were walking through the jungle with not so good intentions.

"Tomorrow is the day boys… we are going to capture all of those birds…" the tallest man out of the three said and he formed an evil grin on his face. He was wearing a black shirt and he had gloves in his hands so he wouldn't leave his fingerprints around.

"Marcel… are you sure about this? I mean how do you know the police won't find us?" the second man said who was way fatter than Marcel and he for some reason he was wearing a weird batman costume…

"They won't if they don't find our fingerprints or a clue about who we are it will be impossible for them to catch us except if they see a weird batman walking on the streets caring boxes…"

"Why? Batman is awesome! "Marcel slapped Tipa in the face confusing him even more… This also caused the third man to slightly laugh.

"When I said wear something dark I said it so we would be unnoticed in the night not a carnival!" Marcel almost yelled out of anger but he knew if the birds or someone heard him they were screwed so he just took a big deep breath and spoke once more:

"Listen… if the rumor is true in this jungle there is the last known blue spix macaw family which means if we manage to capture them we can be rich!"

"And how are we going to do that?" the third man named Armando finally spoke.

"With our traps of course and Nigel will be the one who will bring us the birds"

"NIGEL" Marcel called his faithful pet an ugly sulfur crested cockatoo with sharp beak and talons. Nigel appeared from a tree nearby and he landed gently on Marcel's left arm

"Did you find them?" Marcel asked Nigel who answered by forming an evil smile

"Excellent"

"Alright boys let's find a place to sleep and tomorrow we will enjoy the magic!" Marcel said and he started laughing maniacally.

The next morning seemed normal or that's what everyone thought. The blue macaw family started to wake up. Frida was the first to wake up as always and after stretching her wings she looked at her husband Tony who was smiling on his sleep because he was holding the new born chicks who were sleeping peacefully on their father's wings.

"Alright this time I will go for breakfast" Frida said in such a low voice so she wouldn't wake up her family and immediately took off for breakfast. Five minutes later Frida was 2 kilometers away from her hollow, the mango tree wasn't that close to their hollow but Tony and Frida would always prefer mangoes than any other fruit and they couldn't really explain why. Frida had just picked 3 mangoes one for her the other 2 for her family when she heard noises around her.

"Is anybody there" Frida asked but she didn't get any answer which caused her worry and anger to grow.

"Alright… I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU WANT BUT YOU BETTER SHOW YOURSELF NOW OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!" Frida said and she took her defensive state just in case. Just then an evil laugh sounded behind Frida's back. When she turned around she saw Nigel attacking her but she wasn't fast enough and Nigel easily caught her from her neck slightly chocking her.

"Hello there… Pretty bird it seems like you fell onto… my little trap AHAHAHAH" Nigel laughed maniacally. Frida was staring at him aggressively.

"What the heck you want from me?!" Frida angrily asked and Nigel just smiled evilly.

"I said.. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!"

"A feisty one aren't you?"

"Leave me alone!"

"Why would I do that? Anyways… you better tell me where is your filthy husband and I might spare you…"

"I prefer dying than betraying my family!"

"You really don't need to tell me… he will come to you want to see how?" Nigel put his free leg onto Frida's belly and started pushing it hard. At first Frida tried not to react but the pain started to become unbearable and she let out a painful scream which could be heard all around the jungle.

15 minutes earlier.

Tony woke up hoping that he would see Frida's face waiting for him to wake up but instead he found nothing which caused his worry to start growing but then he felt something in his wings and when he looked down he saw his 2 kids sleeping peacefully. This eased Tony's worry and he started to think logically.

"Alright Tony, Frida just went to get food she will be fine, if she isn't back in 10 mins I will go and look for her" Tony said to himself. 10 minutes passed and Frida still hasn't show up and this caused Tony's worry to comeback stronger and things went worst when he heard a familiar yet horrific scream.

"FRIDA!" Tony screamed and started to panic. He placed his kids gently onto his and Frida's nest. Before he took off he looked back at his sleeping babies and saw Tyler hugging his little sister, this caused him to smile.

"Don't worry kids I will save your mother." With that Tony took off and flew as fast as he could. Not long after he heard another scream closer this time.

"FRIDAAAA!" Tony yelled his wife's name but he didn't hear her response.

"TONYYYY DOWN HERE!" Tony heard her voice which eased his heart a little but when he looked down he noticed something blue near some fallen branches When he came closer his heart was beating like crazy.

"FRIDAAA" Tony screamed once more.

"Tonyy!" Frida said in a much weaker voice than before, one of her wings were trapped under a big branch.

"Hang on honey!"

"No! Go back to our hollow! Both you and the kids are in danger you must go NOW!"

"I won't leave you here alone!" Tony said and fresh tears started running from his face.

"LOOK OUT" Frida screamed but like her Tony wasn't fast enough and Nigel caught him by the neck.

"See… I told you he is a fool." Nigel's statement caused Tony's anger to grow.

"SO YOU DID THIS TO HER!" Tony yelled angrily at Nigel who just smiled evilly.

"You could say soo. Anyways I heard that you two are parents… It would be pity if I leave them orphans wouldn't it" Nigel taunted Tony who's anger grew even more.

"THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW!" Tony said and he managed to bite Nigel leg. This made Nigel to let go of Tony and he attacked once more to Nigel scratching his eye.

"ARGHH! You want to play the hero? Alright then let's begin!" Nigel said and laughed maniacally.

Well that was the prologue…. Next chapter Tony vs Nigel hmmm… anyways if I made grammar mistakes please let me know. I have every intention to improve my writing skills so by telling me my mistakes will help me a lot. And also I don't know when the next chapter will come but for the next 2 days I will be very busy with school tests etc. I might upload one more chapter this weekend and the next week I will be off after that I might do daily (Christmas vacations yay).Damn second grade of high school is hard
