Sorry I haven't posted for a while, here is a one-shot that came to my mind scrolling through Pinterest. I don't own Harry Potter or else I wouldn't be living in my mum's basement.

Hermione was looking out the window, he did this every time it rained. She could never understand why he did it but for some reason she wanted to go and comfort him. But she never could get her courage to make her do it. She will do it this time.

She got up and grabbed a red umbrella and left the Gryffindor common room. Walking through the halls and walked through the door that led to the quidditch pitch.

Draco Malfoy was sitting in the quidditch pitch when he heard a noise behind him. He felt rain disappeared but he could still hear it, he looked back to see Granger standing there holding a red umbrella.

"What do you want Granger." He said looking back towards the pitch.

"You looked cold and lonely, you do this a lot." She answered back, worried about his respond to that last statement.

Hermione took a seat next to Draco not looking at him but she could hear him breathing.

"And why do you care?" He said this with a cold tone.

"Why not."

It was silent for a few minutes until they herd someone yell for them to come in. Draco turned towards Hermione not knowing why she was doing this.

Hermione herself didn't know but when her eyes met his they learned in and had a small kiss. Neither wanted to pull back but did because they needed air.

Hermione smiled and got up, leaving her umbrella with him. As she left Draco was thinking in a whole new way.

After that day Draco said nothing but wonderful things about Hermione, at their graduation he kissed her in front of everybody (even his father and mother). They started dating after that even though Harry, Ron, Mr. Malfoy didn't approve. They got married and had two kids named Scorpius and Rose that grew to be in Ravinclaw, them both.
