"Albus, I'm starting to have second thoughts about this," Minerva said, gazing at her colleague intently.

Albus chuckled. "My dear Minerva, you've never had first thoughts about it." Minerva brushed off his comment and continued adamantly.

"I just don't think its wise to have someone such as Riddle teaching in this school." She gestured ahead of them, where Professor Riddle attempted to walk to his next class, surrounded by bright-eyed young girls with eager questions.

"Professor Riddle is very qualified for this job and eager to prove himself," Albus told her calmly.

"I don't think it is healthy for them to have such a - a person teaching them. That is all," Minerva tried to explain.

Albus smiled into his beard. "Such an attractive person, you mean."

"Well - they should be focused on their classwork. Instead they are trying to impress Riddle." Minerva cast a disapproving look in Riddle's direction.

Albus paused. "And when else have you seen so many students eager to complete their course work to the best of their ability? Impressing their beloved professor is a goal that inspires them to succeed. I can't imagine anything more healthy."

As Minerva pondered this new way of viewing her colleague, Tom stopped in the hallway to demonstrate the correct way to cast a spell. As Minerva looked on, Tom's face was as eager and excited as the faces of the students surrounding him. They were truly enthused about magic.

Minerva begrudgingly admitted to herself that perhaps this attractive new professor wouldn't be the end of Hogwarts. Albus smiled.

"Now, what do you propose we do about the flobberworm infestation in the dungeons?"
