He struggled against a force he was struggling to break what was holding as he stood there staring. He had walked through a tall and dark forest in the twilight being pulled by something he could not see. He was walking and being pulled in an undeterminable direction by some bond and being that he could not sense as he walked in whatever direction the bond led he stumbled and pulled against the bond intentionally at first and tried falling to the ground and struggling to resist the bonds pull but all he could do was be dragged and as he was being dragged he noticed a being following in the paths he had been led through by the bonds and ceased to struggle and gave into the bonds pull when he stopped struggling by his own will he still pulled against the bonds pull as he walked in whatever direction he thought he was supposed to go out and felt the bond pulling him in another.
He walked for what for him seemed to be hours but noticed the night's and the day's sky suddenly replace another with no rhyme or reason and heard many sounds around him the sounds of distant groups in what he thought was some great rustle as there where shouts and screaming and the sounds of some great rustle. As he walked he finally came to a slope of a great mountain and as the bond lead him he was brought to a determinable a path that lead up the mountain and he suddenly realized where he was. He was at the path in and out of the valley and he felt a great sense of dread as he tried to look all around him as he was brought up the mountain pass he noticed it was once again twilight and as he stared to the west the first thing he saw looking towards the other end of the valley he could see the sun setting just over the mountain Mens end he saw a great deal of smoke rising from something in the middle and he was ceased by a great fervor and struggled against the bond trying to break its hold trying to go to the place where the smoke rose from knowing what was there he failed to break the bonds pull.
the pull lead him struggling over the mountain pass and after what seemed to be days he stopped and suddenly felt the bonds chosen direction he walked for day, weeks, fortnights, months, years, and decades as walked over the earth through cities, forests, mountains, plains, oceans, and strange places he had no name for and for all that time he walked he did not tire or have any hunger or thirst and all the time the being that a noticed as he struggled against the bonds earlier followed him all that time and distance and as he walked the being came ever closer until through all of the places he walked he came back to the valley. From whence he left decades ago and walked into the middle of the valley and found a circle full of young trees and destroyed buildings in the center and the bond and its pull ceased to finally be and he the feeling of exhaustion returned to him. He laid to rest for some time awake and closed his eyes for a while and felt peace but suddenly felt unnerved he opened his eyes to see the being standing between at his feet with the sun behind him and he fidgeted greatly to as he tried to move away but felt something against him and he tried to escape but as he came eventually to notice that he was no longer in the circle of broken buildings and young trees he was in bed and he could no longer see the being but the light of the sun shown in his face through the window.
