Prologue
In 2009 Atlantis was flown to Earth to assist in its defense. Taking advantage of the Tau'ri's absence, the Wraith destroyed every human civilization in the Pegasus galaxy in a month in one unified attack.
Some humans were taken to serve as cattle aboard specially built ships. During the attack, three Zero Point Modules were discovered. The Wraith decided to equip three Hive ships with these ZPMs.
They also discovered the base from which the original ZPM powered hive originated from. The coordinates to Earth were discovered.
However they decided to wait until every cruiser and Hive ship in the galaxy could be gathered for a single attack on the Milky Way. This took a very long time.
In 2010 the Stargate was made public. After a short outbreak of rioting in some eastern nations, the United Nations was reformed into the Tau'ri Confederation. This allowed the increase in BC 304 production.
The TCS Legacyand TCS Thor were launched. At the same time the secrets to ZPM and Drone production was discovered.
A facility was established on earth to produce both. Atlantis was soon using three fully powered ZPMs. This allowed all Daedalus class ships to be refitted with ancient shields and Drone weapons platforms powered by ZPMs.
In 2011 the Wraith completed a plan which involved destroying every inhabitable world in Pegasus. They then began their invasion of the Milky Way. The Tau'ri attempted to destroy the fleet but they were no match for over 75 hive ships and hundreds of cruisers.
The Apollo, Odyssey, and George Hammondwere lost in battle. Within a year every world except Earth was either completely destroyed or completely culled. The TFS Lantea and TFS Orilla were launched. Orilla was destroyed shortly after before main weapons system were fully online.
One hundred thousand civilians and five thousand military personnel were stationed aboard Atlantis in case Earth was lost in the future. The Tok'ra and Free Jaffa Nation were also destroyed.
The survivors, one thousand five hundred twenty-seven Jaffa and one hundred twenty-three Tok'ra were allowed to seek refuge on Atlantis.
On December 21st, 2012, the Wraith attacked Earth. In the following battle, the Sun Tzu was destroyed. After it was realized that the battle would be lost, the President of the Tau'ri Confederation, President Jack O'Neill ordered the Daedalus to beam the three ZPMs aboard Atlantis.
He then ordered the remaining ships of the Tau'ri fleet to escort the remnants of humanity to safety. The new Admiral of the Tau'ri Fleet, Admiral Samantha Carter, was ordered to be the military commander of the Tau'ri refugee fleet.
Jack's vice president, Daniel Jackson, was ordered to leave with Atlantis.
He therefore took the office when President O'Neill detonated a ten gigaton naquadah enhanced nuclear warhead in the Tau'ri Confederation capitol to destroy one of the ZPM enhanced hive ships.
In total, of the once mighty Tau'ri Confederation, only Atlantis, Daedalus, Legacy, Lantea, and Thor remained.
