Annabeth's P.O.V.
I was in the middle of canoeing when my partner on the other side of the canoe shouted, "SEA MONSTER!"
I looked to the right, then left, and saw a black figure in the water, now submerging. I was pretty terrified when I saw it a first, then I busted out laughing when I saw the 'sea monster's' head bob out of the water, "Percy? What are you doing in the middle of the creek?"
My canoe partner looked pretty mad.
"Looking for you, Wise Girl!" "Well, you found me, did you want to tell me something?" He looked petty calm, but some nervous. It would probable kill me if I tried to keep up with a canoe, but it came easy to seaweed brain.
"Well, since the first time I saw you, holding a spoon in my mouth, I thought you were totally hot. And now, 1 and a half years later, I have decided my feelings for you… Annabeth Chase, I love you."
I almost fainted when he said it. Then heard a slightly familiar sound, gurgling. Instantly a water naiad popped out of the water on the opposite side of the canoe, "NO! I LOVE PERCY JACKSON!" It screamed.
Percy looked really confused. I said something I would soon regret, "WELL TO BAD, HE LOVES ME, STUPID WATERFLOATY!" The naiad jumped into my canoe and sucker punched me in the gut, making me fall out of the boat.
Percy looked at my sinking body and dove under. I was about to suffocate when I opened my eyes and saw a bubble around me and Percy, I was in his arms and he was looking at me worriedly, "You okay, Wise Girl?" "Yeah, I think s-" I stopped talking when I saw the same naiad swimming toured us; I was hugging Percy for my dear life. Percy just waved his hand, and the water naiad turned to hundreds of little bubbles.
"Don't worry, I won't love anyone but you." Percy said. Then he did something so amazing. He kissed me. Again, I almost fainted. He smiled and laughed a bit, probably because I was blushing like crazy. And we stayed there, in that big bubble, for the rest of the day, gazing into each other's eyes.
