Didn't it seem like the Professor forgot to mention that he was using the stick to measure the water level and yet they blamed Gilligan for it.
"All three of us!" Skipper replies sternly.
"All three of us?" The Professor asks.
"Yeah, me, myself and I," Gilligan replies dropping the lobster trap and starts walking away.
"Exactly!" Skipper says through clenched teeth and folding his arms as the Professor shook his head.
"Hey, wait a minute!" Gilligan calls out walking back up to them. "How was I supposed to know that you were using that to measure the water. You didn't say anything about it."
"Say yeah," Skipper replied scratching his head. "Until you pointed out that stick Professor that was the first I've heard of it."
"Ugh, your right!" The Professor said smacking himself in the forehead. "I was negligent."
"Not only that you were forgetful too," Gilligan replied folding his arms. The Professor pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Gilligan, why don't you go tell the others the good news while Skipper and I clean up," said the Professor.
"What good news?" Gilligan asked.
"That the island isn't sinking Gilligan," Skipper said through clenched teeth.
"Oh yeah," Gilligan replied gathering up the lobster trap and running off.
"Again I'm sincerely sorry Skipper!" The Professor replied rubbing the back of his neck.
"That's all right Professor." The Skipper replied as they walked over to the mess. "Let's just forgive and forget."
They both sighed as they spent the rest of the afternoon, with Gilligan's eventual help, cleaning up.
