Okay, this is my first fan fiction so cut me a break. Rejoice Eboshi hater! Review begging is for hobos! So here is what is happening.
It's three years after the war between humans and gods. San and Hasuki are mates who live with Kosetsu and Sara, their brother and sister.
Me: On to the story!
San: -hugs me- This story is in wolf nature.
Both: We don't own Princess Mononoke. Now read!

Chapter one
They ran, the only noise was the trail of fallen leaves crunching behind them, where Kosetsu and Sara followed. No one was talking, but San and Hasuki didn't mind, they were enjoying the combination of a once again lush forest and silence.
"Here we go!" Hasuki said as the forest broke into clearing. Sara was next to Hasuki and Kosetsu was next to San. Both groups were on opposite sides, crouched. It started when a flock of birds flew off, San attacked Hasuki and Sara was going after Hasuki. They were slashing and biting each other. After 3 minutes, Hasuki and Kosetsu had won. They started the round! Five minutes later, Hasuki won, but not unscathed. He rode Sara back because of a leg wound.
"Sorry about your leg little brother," Kosetsu apologized.
"Don't worry about it, it'll heal enough to walk tomorrow. I'll just go to the lake of the Great Forest Spirit when I can."
"Very well, good job today, you're improving more and more."
"Thank you brother." They came to their den and San helped lie him down.
"Do you mind if I come with you tomorrow? I need a bath. . ." San suddenly said.
"You know you don't need to ask." Hasuki laughed, she would have gone anyways.
She laughed also at this. "I know, I know. Now, lets get you patched up! Just take off your shirt." She started sorting through some plants until she found the one she was looking for while Hasuki sat up and took off his shirt.
San applied the plant to his cuts. It stung! "Damn . . . that hurts!"
"Sorry, just try to bare it." When she finished, he sighed and laid down carefully. "Get some rest, I'll go get some food for tomorrow."
"Fine, bring me back a rabbit." Hasuki laughed and rubbed his nose to San's, earning a laugh from her also.
"I will, just get some sleep."
"K, see you in the morning San." Hasuki pulled his wolf fur cloak over him and fell into a deep sleep.
"Wake up sleepyhead!" San pounced on Hasuki, laughing.
Hasuki shot up, flinging a laughing San. "So not funny San." Hasuki got up, suddenly reminded of his cut, though he could walk easily.
"How's your cut?"San threw a rabbit at him.
Hasuki took a bite and replied tiredly. "Fine, I can walk easily now. Good rabbit by the way, thank you."
"You're so weird Hasuki." San laughed once more. "So are you ready to go?"
"Yeah I guess." He yawned and headed off with San. It was a quiet walk, except for the birds. After a long walk, they were there. The water was sparkling and nothing else was around. Hasuki grabbed San and jumped in, pulling them both under.
They never felt the bottom, but didn't notice. When they resurfaced laughing, they noticed something. Well, three things.
1- The water was warm.
2- This wasn't their forest.
3-, there were three girls screaming.
Me: That concludes our prologue chapter.
San: Nice cliffhanger he did there, huh?
Me: Yupz.
Both: 'Till next time!
