Charm Your Own Cheese.

The weather outside was cold and gray. Though he wouldn't admit it, Louis Weasley was quite cold. Quietly he stomped up the hill behind James, as the pair headed back to Shell Cottage. Through the rainy drizzle and wind the pair could see a light on in the kitchen of shell cottage. The warmth of the building was obvious. As they grew closer to the cottage the fourth year and the third year speed up. Louis was using his broom stick as a sort of walking stick, but James had his slung over his shoulder. About fifteen feet from the back door that lead into the kitchen, James and Louis could hear two girls, laughing and chattering. Grunting slightly, Louis trotted ahead of James and opened the door. Immediately he felt warmer and drier – the drying charm his mother had put on all the entrances was a nice touch.

He threw his jacket over a bench in the small entrance area, and took his shoes off, after carefully leaning his broom against the wall. James did the same thing, but was quicker and into the kitchen before Louis.

"How was flying?" asked Molly, who was sitting on the counter. Dominique stood next to her.

"Oh, you know. Good," Louis answered, looking at his sister and cousin.

"So what have you two been doing all this time?" James asked looking around the kitchen.

Dominique smiled.

"We've been charming our own cheese!" she said brightly. Molly picked a book up off the counter and held to it the side of her face, smiling broadly.

James was less than impressed.

"Really?" he asked, reaching for a piece of bread, and a knife. "Is that all? You guys are so boring," he sliced off a bit of the cheese they'd been working on, plopping it onto his bread, "I would not spend my first over-age Christmas break charming cheese. You guys could be apparating some place, or doing something, you know… fun." James rolled his eyes and began to move the bread with cheese to his lips.

Molly giggled and Dominique hit her on the knee.

"Molll-yyyyyy!" Dominique hissed, also on the verge of giggling. Louis looked at them and looked back at James, who'd just bitten into the piece of bread with cheese. There was a scream, and both Molly and Dominique fell into a fit of laughter.

It took Louis several moments to realize that the cheese had turned into a tarantula. As James spat into the sink, Molly – through her giggling and gasping – managed to say: "We are doing something fun".
