They both did not see it coming. They thought this time they were going to die. The man trying to find redemption in suicide at every corner. The female who fought the man countless time just to find her daughter, she fought the man at every turn, almost dieing so many times by him. But the man became a voice reason, the last person on earth who should have been her voice of reason. They were going to die because their time had finally caught up to them, no matter how many times they saved each other they couldn't do it this time.
They both were captured and inside the very place they needed to be. The mountain leaders didn't know that though. There was going to be a cavalry coming. Their people were coming.
Well their people were supposed to be here but her daughter came first, somehow. Cage seemed to think a parent for a parent. He got it so wrong though, Cage knew the blonde adult was Clarke's mother but he seemed to think the taller dark haired man was her father? All they could put together was Clarke was threatening Cage's father so an eye for eye. Abby was speechless when they uncuffed Kane, why did they think he was some how related to Clarke, was far beyond comprehendible by Abby. She would have laughed if they weren't about to die.
Well lets say Cage may have been holding a gun to one of the said adults. When miraculously Octavia came through that door. She came through when they were about to drain Raven, while Cage was auguring over the radio with Clarke. Octavia came through the door… alone.
"Huh odd choice, Most of our people would be glad to see him dead." Octavia received a head tilt from Kane, who was on the ground with no cuffs, that could be read as a really! It was enough Cage turned around and received a solid punch to the face by the guy who was suppose to be on the ground. In the process Kane managed to get the gun out his hands and Octavia moved to the other guards.
Octavia held her sword to Cage's neck. While Kane unlocked the others.
Once he unlocked Abby they both just did their stare. The stare that seems like they've been separated for years longing for each other. Abby was looking up while Marcus was looking down at her, she was the one who broke the stare and she smiled. He smirked, It was like they were talking to each other without words and no one else knew what they were doing.
They both didn't see it coming. Neither of them knew who initiated it but the next second they both were kissing, arms wrapped around his neck and a hand on her side. They didn't even have a clue how long had passed when they were snapped out of it by Wick and a click of the radio.
"Really guys, in a cave while we still need to get out of here… you know what, I'd probably do the same." The radio clicked with static and that was when they both stopped.
Raven had limped over to the radio when Clarke asked if her mother was fine. "Yeah she's just preoccupied at the moment." What about Kane. "Yeah he is to. We're hopefully about to get out of here, we'll see you on the other side Clarke."
