Undying Love Chapter 4
When she knew that she had the attention of the goblins, she told them of their king's sickly state. Once a hush came over the crowd after hearing of Jareth's illness Sarah continued talking.
"I will be caring for Jareth until he returns to full health". She said before descending the steps on which she was standing and heading back to Jareth's bedroom. She found him there, his eyes seemed to be darker than when she left he was paler than before as well. She went over to him and placed a hand gently on his cheek. He turned his gaze to her and his expression went from tired to pleading. He held her hand limply in his own.
"Please don't leave me again Sarah, stay here with me I only grow worse away from you". Jareth said as tears began to form in his eyes. Sarah squeezed his hand lightly before smiling and sitting on the edge of his bed. He sat up tiredly before placing his head in her lap. He closed his eyes and began to cough violently, making his entire body shake. His coughs soon became less frequent and turned to sobbing. Sarah placed a hand on his back and began to sing.

Sarah stopped singing when she felt Jareth's shoulders relax. She looked over at him and realized he was asleep. With her free hand she covered him with a blanket before making herself a bed on the floor next to him.
