The cold Neverland air nipped at Wendy's skin that wasn't covered by her thin nightgown. Her blonde hair was coated in mud and dirt, her cheeks stained with hot tears. She pulled her knees to her chest, trying to stay warm in the cage Peter had put her in for her own 'safety.' Wendy knew why he kept her in the cage, because she was his. His Wendybird, his toy, the person he loved to torment the most.

"Tomorrow, Wendy." His voice echoed through her mind, her mind pondered to what the even meant. Every night when he would lock her back in the horrid cage, his last words to her would be "Tomorrow, Wendy." Before kissing her cheek and locking the cage.

A shaky sigh escaped her mouth, letting more tears roll down her cheeks. Oh, how she wished she could be home, in the safety of her bed, fresh clean clothes, an actual bath. She'd come to Neverland to stay young forever, have no worries.

Peter became dark, laving Wendy afraid of being anywhere near him. For the safety of herself, she would do anything he would say, even if it included tricking an innocent boy so Pan could have his heart.

She wiped her eyes, crying would only make things worse for her. It wouldn't help in the slightest. She was still stuck here, for forever.

Forever.

Forever is an awfully long time.
