Author's note: Ok so in my creative writing class we have to make a poem about anything. I didn't know what to write so i started listening to interumental music. In the music you can hear waves and the ocean along with the piano. I started writing down about four lines then it hit me: This can be about Thane and Shepard! So yeah, that's what it's about. It wouldn't let me make it in stanzas so i just sperated each stanza with a period. Hope you like it! Review and favorite it please! Thank you!
So close, yet so far away,
A devil in white,
An angel in black,
Waiting for the day that the stars realign.
In eternal bliss and tranquil streams,
A passionate cry for a love that ran away.
Across the sea he waits for the girl that got away,
On the dusty sands he waits for his lover's day,
Reunited in the end.

What really happens after death?

In eternal bliss and tranquil streams,
Both so different, yet both so alike,
His angel in black,
Her devil in white,
Till death do they part,
Till death do they reunite.
Happiness is a farfetched dream it seems,
But in the end happiness is across the sea.

She lays awake with tears down her face,
Ashes to ashes we all fall down,
Get back up and turn the world around.
In the end he is what a waits across the endless sea of dreams,
And when it's all good and done,
There's no place she'd rather be than across the tender sea.

In his arms he held her tight,
No matter the time of night,
He was always by her side.
Once a galaxy laid in their way,
Now the waters of an endless sea,
And even though they were born miles away,
Love always finds a way.

Across the endless sea is where he'll be.
Even at night it's alright,
Because in the end they will reunite,
And that's where they will be,
Across the endless sea.
And when she shut her eyes to rest,
She dreamed she was across the sea,
But she never woke from the dream,
And it seems to me that she is at peace.
When the stars realign is when lovers reunite,
And happiness no longer seems like a distant dream.
