The Specter Deflectors

Introduction
Author's Note:
This is an idea that I've been working on for years. I've always liked working on stories, and this was just an idea for a TV show that I've been working on for a while. I figured I could convert it into a fanfiction and put it here for all to read.
You see, the Specter Deflectors takes place in a universe that features species, locations, organizations, and objects from a wide variety of different series and properties (anime, manga, cartoons, comics, live action TV, movies, web shows, mythology, other fanfics, literature, etc.). While I have no intention of using any actually characters from these series, most of the characters in this fic are based on pre-existing characters in abilities, personality, and/or appearance. I own nothing. All rights and copyrights for the different species, locations, etc. go to their respective owners.
Within said universe, the existence of paranormal beings such as vampires and aliens is public knowledge, and it's quite common for non-human creatures to walk amongst human crowds with no one freaking out unless they're actually trying to hurt someone.
One thing I'm insistent on is basic morality; no one race and/or species in the series is entirely good or evil, including typically evil creatures such as vampires. Just like humans, some members of one race can be good, some can be bad, and some are somewhere in between.
Additionally, I'm including my own spin on groups and factions from different series and properties, as mentioned above (like the Justice League, for example). Within this fic, all the good groups are more or less "squads" within the larger Specter Deflectors organization, and the bad groups are the same with a villainous organization.
Expect a long wait for the first chapter. I've got a hell of a case of writer's block. When it does, please R&R, and expect a separate encyclopedia so you know who's who, what's what, and where's where. And one more thing for those who have any issues with the story in the future: this is my fic. If you think you can do better, go ahead and write your own.
