A/N THANKS FOR KEEPING UP WITH THE STORIES, HERE'S ANOTHER FRED/ANGELINA. ENJOY!
What if I asked him out? Would he say yes? Sometimes I feel like we have a connection, but other times he doesn't look at me. When we are in the same room I feel so aware of his presence. I just know where he is at all times. Call me crazy, but I think I might be in love for the first time. Think about it, I'm not a kid. I'm not too young. I'm just still learning how the world works and right now, I still need to figure my life out. Still, if he asked me to the dance I wouldn't say no. Seriously, Fred Weasley takes my breath away.
Angelina Johnson stuffed her notebook back in her bag with her quill and gave up on doing homework. She took a walk to the library so she could people-watch. She watched girls sketch out their Yule Ball dresses for each other and talk about who they were going with. She pretended to scan book titles when she was really glancing over them to see who was talking to who, and see if a certain redheaded twin was in the same room. She didn't see him, so she went outside instead. She had recently discovered that there was a flower patch that was put under a spell so it bloomed beautifully all year. She walked outside without even getting in her cloak. Smart move, she told herself. She was freezing, and then it started to snow.
Angelina was lying amongst the multi-colored roses when a certain redheaded twin lied down next to her.
"So, whatcha looking at?" he asked, looked at the snow falling on his face.
"Well, I'm just looking up, and trying not to get snow in my eye." She added.
"The roses are lovely this time of year." They both laughed, because they were always in bloom.
"I want to have a daughter named Rosella one day. I'd call her Rose for short." She dreamed aloud.
"That sounds really lovely, Angelina. I actually haven't thought about it myself, but Rose is a nice name." He agreed.
"I could just lie here forever, watching the snow, sleeping in the roses." She mused.
"Well, then you couldn't go to the Yule Ball with me. Oh well, I'll just have to lie out here with you forever." He said, smiling. Angelina sat up in surprise.
"Go to the ball with you? Really?" she asked, astounded.
"Why, of course. I thought you knew I fancied you for ages, and I've imagined dancing with you for a long time." He smiled, almost embarrassed.
"Well, that sounds like a spectacular idea. Instead of lying in roses, we can dance forever. You and me." she said, taking his hand in hers.
"You and me," he said, then he kissed her softly on the mouth.
